I looked over to Taraji on the phone call, her mouth was hanging and her eyes were teary.
"Taraji what's wrong?"
"We gotta go to the hospital Zakarye is hurt, they got into an accident" we quickly got our shit and headed to the hospital. The car ride was filled with sniffles and tears, I hate to see her so upset
"Okay come on baby" I said as we entered the parking lot
Taraji came out and waited for me so we walked into the hospital hand in hand
"Zakarye Barrino" I asked the receptionist since Taraji wasn't talking
"Are you her legal guardian?"
"Yes, she's my daughter, just tell us where the fuck is my kid?" I was beginning to get frustrated
"Ma'am Zakarye is in operation right now, the person that she was with give the go ahead"
"Fucking hell, I would like to see that person"
"Right away" she walked off
A few minutes after Amari came running to us with tears in her eyes
"Where is my sister Amari, why'd you tell them to do surgery?"
"Would you have preferred her to fucking die Taraji?"
"Okay girls that's enough, Amari did what she had to do to save Zakarye don't be hard on her"
"What happened?" I continued
"We were driving on the highway coming back home when a car came into my lane to overtake another car , but a truck was coming it hit into the overtaker, And the sudden stop caused a car to hit my car on Zakarye's side"
All Taraji could've done in that moment was cry.
