The Discussion

They were now in their room, Virat closed the door. He was dreading facing Rohit, he turned around to see Rohit keeping his bag in the wardrobe.

Virat had expected some kind of reaction after that stupid outrage. But here Rohit was, acting like he wasn't even here.

Rohit, after keeping his bag, looked towards Virat to see him rooted near the door. Rohit knew Virat was staring at him, but as soon as he looked at him, Virat started looking here and there.

Rohit went inside the washroom without saying a word and Virat sat on the bed defeated, "It would have been better if he had stayed with that gora. I can't bear his silence." He muttered to himself.

Rohit came out of the washroom to see Virat sleeping in an awkward position, "Why's he behaving like me?" Rohit muttered.

He pulled Virat and made him lie down before pulling the comforter over him.

Rohit's phone rang and he hurriedly picked it up going to thw balcony so as to not disturb Virat.

"Hello?" He said on the phone, "Hello Ro, did you guys reach?" Came the hushed voice of Anushka.

"Yeah we did, didn't you talk to Virat?" Rohit asked, his full name felt weird to say, but here they were.

"I did but his phone is switched off." Anushka said and Rohit could hear the exasperation in her voice.

He was grateful that no matter what happened with Virat, he will always have his sister with him. "How are you and the kids?" Rohit asked after a pause.

"Yeah they are fine, come meet them after the series they miss you. I am also fine, just exasperated and worried about you both." Anushka said.

"Don't be, there's nothing to be worried about now. Our friendship is over and there's nothing you or Ritsy can do so don't worry." Rohit said.

"Whatever you say Ro, we aren't going to quietly sit down and not do anything." Rohit heard Ritika say and he frowned.

"Ritsy? You are with Nush?" Rohit asked, "Yeah she's at our house." Ritika said.

Rohit heard Vamika and Samaira say something in the background and Ritika and Anushka laughing along.

He sighed defeatedly, there was their families mingling along and laughing together and here they were, not talking even when they were in the same room

"Something's definitely not right, can't y'all see it?" Jassi asked to the people cooped up in his room.

"I also think so, Virat didn't even come with us to meet Ro." Rahul said.

Jassi noddded his head and added, "Neither did Ro bhaiya ask about him."

"Come on guys they always keep fighting, this is not new, they'll be fine till the end of the day." Jaddu said.

"Jaddu bhai but, whenever they fight, they keep passing comments at each other. They never stop talking." Rishabh said and everyone gave out a collective hum.

"We need to find out, and who better than me for this job." Yuzi said excitedly.

"Yuzi don't get caught though." Kuldeep said, "Yeah please be cautious we don't know in which mood they are." Hardik said trying to scare him.

Kuldeep for a second looked mortified, "Stop scaring him Harry." Yuzi said glaring for him.

Yuzi came back after a while with a horrified expression on his face. Kuldeep rushed to him and hugged him, "Are you ok?" He asked.

Everyone in the room rolled their eyes, "Yeah I am fine, but after what I am going to tell you guys you won't be." Yuzi said and paused for dramatic effect.

"Are you going to say something now or not?" Jaddu asked and Yuzi nodded.

"I saw Vi bhai sleeping and Rohita bhaiya wasn't in the room." Everyone gasped hearing that Virat was sleeping at such an ungodly hour.

"Are you guys shocked with only half of the information? Wait till you hear more." Yuzi said grinning maniacally.

"Jassi tell him to get it over with or am going to remove my sword." Jaddu said at the end of his patience.

Yuzi sobered up immediately, "Um I'll tell you wait, I saw Rohita bhaiya in the gym, running on the trademill and then doing push ups." He said finally.

The room became eerily quiet as everyone froze, Yuzi looked around to see everyone wide eyed. He clapped a hand, "Say something." He said.

"How is this happening?"

"How is Ro exercising without being forced?"

"How's vi bhaiya sleeping rather than being in the gym?"

"I don't get it."

"Are we in some alternate universe?"

"OH GOD SHUT UP EVERYONE!" Jassi shouted having had enough of the chaos. Everyone fell silent, clamping their mouths shut. No one wanted to make the ever calm Jassi angry.

"This is serious, I am sure something major has happened. We need to find out." Jassi said and looked at everyone.

"Say something." He prompted. "Who bhaiya you said to shut up." Ishan said meekly.

Jassi heaved an annoyed sigh, "Oh god, talk everyone but one by one." He said praying to the heavens to grant him patience.

"I think we should seek them out and ask what happened." Rahul suggested.

"Yes that's a good start, I'll talk to Ro bhaiya and you talk to Vi bhai, Rahul." Jassi said.

"No I'll talk to Rohit you talk to Virat." Rahul said quite literally like a child.

Jassi frowned at Rahul, "What's happening to you?" He asked and Rahul just shook his head.

"Ok yeah go to talk to Ro bhaiya." Jassi said, narrowing his eyes.

"And what about us?" Rishabh asked, "Yeah we also have some rights on them." Hardik said agreeing to Rishabh.

"Do you want to get shouted at?" Rahul asked, very well knowing no one was gonna get shouted at.

Jassi looked at Rahul and nodded, playing along, "Yes they might be in very bad moods." He said.

Rishabh looked at Hardik with a questioning gaze, they whispered amongst themselves.

"Yeah we have decided that we'll sacrifice our rights for now." Hardik said finally.

"Yes to what Harry said." Rishabh said.

"Ok then we'll go, everyone please go back to your rooms. I don't want y'all wrecking havoc in my room." Jassi said as him and Rahul set out towards Virat and Rohit respectively.
