Happiest Ever After

Virat and Rohit entered the hotel lobby to see Jos and Jammy bhai talking amongst themselves.

"What are they doing here in the lobby?" Virat whispered to Rohit.

"I was also out with you na how will I know you idiot?" Rohit said rolling his eyes.

"Wow that feels good to hear." Virat said genuinely grinning at Rohit.

"What?" Rohit asked, his eyebrows knitted in confusion.

"You called me idiot." Virat pointed it as if it was obvious.

"You are impossible!" Rohit shook his head as he walked ahead while Virat was genuinely delighted.

"Ah Ro finally you are here, we were worried about you." Jos said.

"Benstokes again!" Virat gritted his teeth as Jos smiled bright at Rohit and Rohit reciprocated it back with the same warmth.

"What happened mate did you call my name?" Ben said from the couch startling Virat.

Seeing that Rohit burst out laughing and Rahul bahi also joined in not being able to control it.

Jos and Ben just looked at each other utterly confused.

"No Ben don't worry he didn't call  out your name." Rohit said between laughs.

"Ro it feels good seeing you laugh so freely after so long." Jos said patting Rohit's shoulder.

Virat came forward and slung an arm over Rohit's shoulder immediately, "Obviously he's got his best friend back now." He said smugly.

Jos and Rahul bhai raised their eyebrows, "Thank god now at least these kids will not roam around sulking about their parents." Rahul bhai sighed in relief.

"Parents?" Jos asked and Rahul bhai just shook his head while Virat and Rohit laughed sheepishly.

"I need to take my pills." Rohit mumbled to himself and the three of them winced at that.

"You need to have those still?" Virat asked. "Yes I have to complete the prescribed dose can't leave them in between."

"How do you know about it Rahul bhai?" Rohit asked not getting any question from the latter.

"Mahiya told me so that I could keep an eye on you. He can't hide anything from his big brother just like you." Rahul bhai said ruffling his hair fondly.

"Go and take those pills Ro, and take care." Jos said as he hugged him good night.

"Yes yes I'll take care of him." Virat said with an extra sweet tone and Jos just nodded now catching up on Virat's jealousy.

"Is it necessary to hug to say good night?" Virat whined to Rohit as soon as Jos was out of the earshot.

"Cheeku come let's go to our rooms." Rohit said as he hugged Rahul bhai good nigh and dragged Virat along with him.

"Rooooooo I want to sleep with you." Virat said pouting like a child.

"No Vi I can't let you cheat on my sister neither can I cheat on my Ritsy." Rohit said solemnly and it took Virat a second to process what was said.

Virat gasped at that and smacked Rohit's arm, "Not that idiot I just want spend the night with-" Virat was saying but stopped seeing the expression on Rohit's face.

"Never mind I am not saying it but you get it no?" Virat asked amd Rohit just hummed and laughed.

"Vi?" Rohit said as they reached the lift. Virat happily looked at him on not being called by his full name.

Rohit looked at him too, his face serious and solemn, "We talked about sleeping together just now, who would bot-" he was asking but was cut in between by Virat.

"Benstokes kya bol rahe hai be tu?" Virat exclaimed, his eyes wide. Seeing that Rohit burst out into peels of laughter again.

Rohit and Virat entered the latter's room to see Vamika sleeping on Ritika's lap and Samaira sleeping on Anushka's lap while the two of them were reading something on Ritika's phone.

They hadn't yet noticed Rohit and Virat in the room, "These media people have caught onto their real rift. I'll have to manage all this now oh god." Ritika said showing the article to Anushka.

"You don't have to we'll hug on the field and our fans will know we are fine." Virat said wagging his eyebrows at the two of them.

"RohiRat - Bharat Milap successful guyssss!" Virat exclaimed slinging a hand over Rohit's shoulder who was also smiling.

"Seriously?" Anushka asked gleefully and Virat nodded. She carefully tucked Samaira and ran towards Virat and hugged him.

"I am so happy bubs finally me and Ritsy will be free of this drama." Anushka said booping Virat's nose.

Ritika also followed suit and hugged Rohit tight, "I was so worried for you Ro I am so happy now." She said as she pecked the pout Rohit had formed after Anushka called their fight a drama.

"And now me and Nuskie can  again start to wait for the time y'all will finally cheat on us." Ritika said laughing.

"Oh you don't say, Vi was talking about us sleeping together you know." Rohit said laughing.

"I meant it like sharing a room Ritsy!" Virat stomped his foot.

"Oh hello Ro did you at least give this Mr. Share-a-room a punch or something?" Anushka asked Rohit who just shook his head.

"Now that I think of it I did not give him any punishment and just forgave him." Rohit said deep in thought.

"Stop he suffered enough, he doesn't need more punishments." Ritika said seeing Virat's expressions.

"Hmm he at least deserves one slap." Rohit said moving towards Virat.

"Ro slap me it's ok I deserve it." Virat said, his voice low.

Virat closed his eyes as Rohit lifted his hand but opened one eyelid to see Rohit hug him.

"Your punishment is you will have to buy me whatever I tell you for at least two months." Rohit mumbled.

Virat's eyes moistened, "I don't deserve you Ro, you are the bestest friend anyone could have. No wonder everyone clings to you." He said hugging Rohit back just as tight.

"Are you guys done with your bromance? We are still here." Anushka said coughing.

"No nushkie that's not bromance that's romance." Ritika chided and Rohit moved back at that.

"You both have grown vile." Virat said narrowing his eyes at the duo laughing.

"Let's go to my room and sleep." Rohit said giving a side eye to Anushka and Ritika as he dragged Virat out of the room.

"Here we go again." Anushka said laughing as Rohit and Virat went out mumbling to themselves.

"Finally we got our Happiest Ever After back." Ritika said as she hugged Anushka.

"Finally." Anushka mumbled as she looked at their husbands go out then their kids and then at each other.

"Y'all are everything I need." Anushka said. "Forever." Ritika agreed.
