Bluestar pov

Bluestar marched up to the sunningrocks with Brokenstar at her side, his tail laid reassuringly on her back. This was the final battle... and  sunningrocks would finally be Thunderclan ground, as it had been many moons before.

"Are you ready?" Brokenstar's husky mew brought Bluestar back from her thoughts.

"Yes, it is time to show these fish-eating mice who sunningrocks belong to!" With that, Bluestar let out an ear-spitting screech and charged into Riverclan territory. The Thunderclan and Shadowclan fleets exploded into the peaceful camp, satisfied as the whole camp seemed to burst with cats running in blind terror.

"Show no mercy!" Brokenstar snarled at his warriors.

Bluestar's pelt spiked with shock, they had only come into camp to warn them, not drive them out! Bluestar gazed into Brokenstar's warm amber eyes, feeling calmer. Maybe driving out Riverclan would be a better solution than having what seemed like eternal conflict over a place to sun.

"Drive every last one of them away! This conflict has lasted far too long!" Bluestar commanded.

Tigerclaw growled with satisfaction and led his group into battle, while Brokenstar blinked at Bluestar fondly and said, "Shall we?"

She nodded, rubbing her moon-like pelt against his pelt, feeling powerful muscles rippling beneath. They both charged in together. They fought like they had trained together for countless moons, covering each other's weak spots and matching each other blow for blow until they had driven Crookedstar into a corner.

"Well, Crookedstar," Bluestar began, "It seems to me like you have no warriors left to fight. Unless you count half-trained apprentices or kits. All of your warriors are cowards. My warriors would never abandon me." She felt that a long conflict was finally brought to an end, she was answering her ancestors pleas.

"A-are you going to... kill me?" Crookedstar stammered in terror. Brokenstar met Bluestar's gaze expectantly.

"Not if you take you and your Starclan-cursed clan far away and never return to clan territory. Brokenstar nodded, lashing his tail.

"You!" Crookedstar exclaimed in disgust. "Why are you even helping Thunderclan?  You have nothing to gain from it!"

"No. You're wrong. I have gained something more valuable than any power." Brokenstar shot back at him, drawing a swift affectionate lick over Bluestar's ear.

Bluestar felt like she was pulsing with joy from ears to tail-tip. She really meant that much to Brokenstar? She had never felt this happy... not even with Oakheart... She felt love in its purest form. Knowing that Brokenstar would do anything for her, she would do the same for him.
