Hate.
Consuming Monster.
It boils in my blood
The pain of tomorrow
It won't go away
I hide in the sorrow
Different kinds
Like push and pull
Some are dark
Others beautiful
Scratching and clawing
Nibble and bite
They fill you up
Without a fight
You are consumed
To get your way
But in the end
You have no say
It takes control
And takes the wheel
The wheel of freedom
How does it feel?
Worst comes to worst
From dusk to dawn
Worries that tire you
Fade with a yawn
Sleep it away
Drown it out
Dream it better
Doubt by doubt
Awaken to dark
Not yet the shine
Moon in the sky
The stars align
You bring hate
Hate brings lies
Lies bring questions
Where's and whys
Where are you
When needed here
Why aren't you
Showing fear
Clear and bright
Like a full moon
Don't show your fear
It's coming soon
Don't hide away
Show it all
Monster of hate
Fight and fall
The brink of death
Through the haze
Maybe farther
In the maze
Follow the path
To the other side
Once your safe
Make sure to hide
The love never there
The pain never ending
A heart that's broke
Not worth mending
Just leave it there
Leave it be
Leave it broken
For the world to see
The fight is over
Admit defeat
Present the monster
You are to meet
The winner
The game
The hate
The shame
The monster
The men
The ones who fought
To live again
The heroes that fell
In the night
They fought their beasts
Went down with a fight
But in the end
Hate all consuming
In the shadows
Always looming
