A feeling for when you're hurt
And it won't go away;
When you lose someone close
That you wanted to stay
It's for when your alone
And close to tears;
When time just stops
For what seems like years
It's for when there's hate
And it burns like fire;
When it should die down
But just rises higher
For when you don't enjoy life
And just want it to end;
When you think there's no hope
But just needed a friend
It's for when your wise
And don't think in vain;
When finally you understand
It all comes from pain
