Dedicated to Jinx7063. Thanks a million. Your comment was inspiring, my friend.

POV Leo

Grrrrrr... I'm literally so frustrated right now. Coach and I (let's be honest, mostly I) have been working for a few hours trying to add some new weaponry to the ship using the Archimedes Sphere. Surprise, surprise, our work, literally, just went up in smoke. Poof, do-over.

I've gotten almost all the necessary repairs that the asshole monsters have caused the Argo II to need out of the way. I just want to add some badass new shit to this piece of glory.

Is that so much to ask?

I guess I may have been a tad bit distracted. Now personally, I think it is perfectly alright for me to be worried about my three friends who have gone on a journey into a most likely hostile environment...

Who am I kidding? I totally just keep thinking about Mr. "I speak sexy Itallian" di Angelo. I mean the dude can totally handle himself down in the city... surrounded by large creatures that probably want to destroy him... traveling to a most likely super dangerous house... with the backup of a large Canadian-Baby Man...

Screw it. I have every right to be über worried about the guy. He's been through so much shit in his life. I guess that comes with being a demigod.

I just hope he doesn't get hurt anymore. I know he probably wants to be all tough and doesn't want anyone to worry about him ('cause that is how I always feel), but he deserves to have someone care. At least he's down there with Hazel, who I know won't let anything happen to him. (She's scary sometimes).

I hear what definitely sounds like cursing (in another language so I can't be completely sure) and go on an adventure to see what's what. Aah, French, the language of love. Piper has apparently tripped coming down the stairs to the lower deck and stubbed her toe.

"C'mon, Beauty Queen. I know you've had much worse," I say laughing.

She pouts like a true daughter of Aphrodite, then glares daggers at me, "Nothing is worse than falling down the stairs and stubbing your toe," she says.

We both end up hysterically laughing, after a few more quips back and forth about the ridiculousness of the situation. "We're on a warship, flying probably to our untimely death somewhere," I wheeze, "and we're arguing about the severity of stubbed toes."

Finally we both gasp for air and breathe heavily, now sitting back to back at the bottom of the stairs.

"So what's up with you lately, Repair Boy? You've been acting a little bit differently that past few days."

"I've just been kind of lost in thought, I guess. We have a shit-ton to get done, very little time to do it, and my beautiful ship is getting beat up every step of the way."

"I know," she says, then turns to look at me. Her eyes really are strange. Right now they look kind of like a chocolate brown. "Leo, you know who my mother is, right?"

"Ummm... is this a trick question?" I respond.

"No," she says, pausing. "You know, if what's happening with you is what I think is happening... Hazel Levesque might just murder you..."

I feel my cheeks heat up and avoid her gaze. "I... have... nooo idea to what you are referring..."

"Uh huh. Okay. Fine. Suit yourself. If you want to talk about mister tall, dark, and handsome you know where to find me. Though, right now I believe we have a ship to keep maintenancing."

"Um, yeah, right," I say, helping her up. She smirks at me as we race back up to the main deck.

Hmm. So Piper has obviously figured out what's up between Nico and me. Dam her lineage. I just hope no one else has. At least for now.

Either way, Piper is pretty much my best friend. I'm sure she'll keep the secret.

Right now though, I really should be working on the ship. Maybe any updates I add would impress, what did Piper say again? Oh yeah, tall, dark, and handsome.

Better get to it.

So guys, happy Independence Day if you are in America, happy Canada day if you're over there. Remember, please tell peeps about the story if you think they'd like it, follow, vote, comment, or just keep reading for the fun. Love you all. -LeofreakingValdez
