I was standing outside, mowing the grass that surrounded this piece of a dump when I heard my children arguing. My oldest, Zion, is 23, and she reminds me every day that I can move somewhere else. My baby boy, Dallas, who is 12, reminds me of his father's voice. Then my baby girl, Keziah, who is 3 reminds me of Danielle. Oh, how I miss Danielle. I just don't speak to her as much because of my back-and-forth bullshit with Kendall. Keziah is always the light in the situation and is so smart for a 4-year-old.

I then turned the lawn mower off to see what the commotion was. I heard Dallas first, which made my body tremble at the thought of Kendall's voice.

"There is no reason to be living in this dump, and Mom knows it! She just needs Aunt Dani or someone to-" Zion then got cut off by Dallas. "No. We must stay here. This is home, Zion. This is where Dad is!" he exclaimed.

I stood there, watching the anger rising in my little boy. My Dallas. My Zion was completely different from her Mommy, though, because she knew how to hold her ground and was never afraid to go back and forth with a man, nor a woman.

"Dallas baby, go cut the grass for mommy as I talk to Zion." I say, leading him to the back door to cool off. I then turn to see my poor Zion looking at me angrily. "Why are we still here? We could've left Dani, but no, now we're stuck in this place full of bad memories!" she was now bawling, tears running down her face like a waterfall.

"Baby I can't. Your fathers here and-" she cut me off as soon as I said 'father'. "Is this your only excuse? Is this why you didn't go with Dani because of the low-down thing called a father? You could've made a better life for Keziah. Dallas is not the only one with feelings." she declared, wiping her tears away angrily. I then heard a little footsteps coming downstairs. I could tell it was Keziah.

"Mommy!" She said, running up to me and jumping in my arms. "Mom make up your mind. Before I do."
Zion said, going up to her room.

Maybe she is right. We all need a fresh start. For Keziah, Zion, and Dallas.

I woke up to hearing what sounded like moaning. I threw my house shoes and kept my lamp turned off to make it seem like I was still sleeping. I opened the door and started to hear it clearly now.

"Dani.." Regina whimpered softly. "Hm? What's wrong, baby?" Dani asked. I then stuck my head out fully around the corner to see what was. They were making out.

Mhmm.." Regina said as she was being pinned down with Dani's hands. I need to stop this. They ain't gonna fuck in my house!

"Well good morning to y'all?!?" I say, throwing up my hands revealing myself, and walking into the kitchen.
