You and iiii , will never fall apart...TPH

I had woke up a couple of hours ago, getting ready to go buy groceries. I originally got up at 5 and then took a bubble bath to just have a couple of hours to myself.I was listening to 'Forever My Lady' by Jodeci as I sipped my wine.
Keziah, Zion, and Fantasia slept in my bed last night because we were watching movies and eating.
As I sat in the bath, I started to remember the conversation that occurred last night between me and Fantasia after the girls went to sleep.

Flashback of last nights conversation...
I sat there, with Keziah snoring in my lap, I couldn't help to be captivated by Fantasia's personality.
She comes off as a lovely person who cares a lot for people, but it's like she has a barrier that she keeps up to protect herself.
I gazed at her, playing through her daughter's hair as she slept, smiling at her face. She then eyed me, with a sense of confusion on her face.
"What?"
"Nothing, just studying you."
"What do you mean by that? You like me or something, Ms ma'am?" She asked, chuckling softly.
"It means that I want to know more about you." I said, chuckling.
"Why?"
"Well, you're going to be living here for a while, so why not?" I said, trying to crack her.
"What are you trying to learn?"
"I wanna know why you tend to push your feelings away when you're in tough situations. Why so secure?" I asked, sounding like an interviewer, causing her to laugh.
She then looked me, up and down, smirking like she was intrigued, yet skeptical.
"My children are my everything and I want to try to always prioritize their well-being. I want to be committed to providing them with the best I can offer, so I have to stay strong and secure. Easily giving my all to a person, could be a waste if they take advantage of me." She said, with her soft and raspy voice.
