"Mommy I want a banana please" Reek begged. He was dressed in a light blue nike tech ready to stay with MD for the weekend.
"Yes one minute baby, let me tie my laces" she replied.
Down came from the stairs was Duke and Lailah. Lailah wore a blue dress and gold sandals to match with her younger brother.
Duke wore a white tee with his grey nike tech bottoms and Jayla wore the same thing, matching. They wanted to be simple and comfortable as it's a long drive.
Jayla took a banana then gave half to Lailah and the other to Reek.
Eventually they got to the car and Duke stopped at a star bucks because Jayla wanted a caramel frappe.
He came back with 3 drinks, a mango refresher for himself and a caramel frappé without coffee for the kids to share.
"Bae can you go back and get some napkins" Jayla said when he placed down the drinks.
He huffed and got back out.
She took the honey pack out her pocket and quickly opened it and emptied the whole thing into his mango refresher.
"What's that?" Lailah curiously asked.
"Daddy's medicine"
"Is he sick?" Reek asked.
"No, it's super medicine, it makes him stay up longer to drive" she yapped.
He'll be staying up alright.
"Oh. Like what an energy drink does?" Lailah confirmed.
"Exactly" Jayla nodded then threw the empty packet out the window and tried swirling the drink around without spilling it before placing it back.
He came back in the car giving her the napkins.
"Thank you" Jayla said.
15 minutes they arrived at MD's crib and dropped the kids off then headed straight to K3's.
Mid-drive Duke finally took a sip of his drink, all his ice has melted and I guess that's the way he likes it. Which was good because the odd sweetness would've went down.
"This taste a lil different" he said drinking more. "Try it"
"No mango makes me throw up" Jayla lied scrunching her nose.
"It tastes good" he said drinking even more, half the cup was gone.
5 minutes later they arrived at K3 where there was a 1Mercedes Benz sprinter parked outside.
The couple was the last one arrived and everyone already had their bags inside the van. Everyone included K3, Nelly, Boolie, Maple, Mint, Jayla, Duke, Wooda, Keesha, Omar and a girl he brought along, Esther.
