Branch POV

I watched the place that you were pointing at and saw a shiny flying saucer creeping out of the fog. Terrified, I looked around hearing an electronic humming and pulsing noise emanating from the UFO but there was absolutely nowhere I could go without having to jump in the water around us.

"What in buttered biscuits?!" Hickory said as the ship got closer to us.

I could see that you were trying to get to us but were stopped by a huge bubble that had formed around us. Despite your best efforts It wouldn't break so all you could do was watch.

"Huh?"

A bubble appeared in front of us and I gave it a suspicious look as it got closer.

"I got it." Yelled Hickory picking up his guitar and swinging at it, ending up hitting me square in the face.

Soon the bubbles get us and we're taken into the ship.

I expect a whole new kind of nightmare waiting inside but instead we're taken gently though the ship passing by different looking Trolls going about their day. There was some odd music playing as well. I was puzzled by this sudden change but stayed calm.

We didn't seem to be in immediate danger so I began to relax a touch as I took in my new strange surroundings until we're thrown to the ground.

Looking around I could see that Hickory and Poppy were also here when I realized that you weren't with us anymore.

You definitely couldn't fit in the ship so you must have been left by the raft.

I began to panic a little on the inside as I started to overthink this situation with what if's.

Yeah you were strong and independent but you didn't have a map or anything to guide you. What if you couldn't find us again? What if Barb found you before we did?

Poppy stood and watched me cocking her head.

"Branch, what's wrong?" asked Poppy in a worried tone.

"Y/N, they're gone." I say simply.

Poppy broke out into more worry as they searched around for any sign of you.

She walked up closer to me and took a breath of air before saying, "d-don't worry Branch, I'm sure they're OK." like the true optimistic Troll they were.

I try to believe her.

Y/N POV

Watching helplessly, you could see that saucer that had taken Branch, Hickory and Poppy zipped away out of sight before your very eyes. For a few moments you couldn't get your mind to wrap around what had happened and stand there looking in the spot where the sparkly UFO was.

Soon dread fills you as you think about what they could be experiencing there. Why hadn't you reacted quicker? Maybe if you weren't stuck up in your head thinking about wanting to go home you could have done something to help them. Maybe you could have grabbed the boat faster, and taken them to safety.

Peering around you there was still too much fog to see beyond a few feet. And even so it didn't seem to be leaving anytime soon.

You press your hands into your cold eyes and face like clay, groaning like that would bring them back.

You wish they would.

Now you were completely isolated and alone.

A light shines on your head, lighting it up and drawing your attention to it. Gazing up you expect to see the UFO again, back to finish its job. But instead you spot a floating disc with some colorful light coming off it. The bottom was the only side you could see and it was just out of grabbing distance.
