Seungcheol's life had always been a game. The stakes were high, the risks even higher. But in this game, he played the cards, and he played them well. They called him the God of Gambling, a man who could beat the best of the best. His skill at cheating was legendary—so subtle that even his opponents didn't notice.
Seungcheol's journey to the top wasn't easy. He started young, gambling to survive, to feed his family in a world that cared little for the poor. But he quickly rose through the ranks, earning a reputation as one of the best gamblers in the underground circuit. His fame spread, catching the attention of a shadowy figure known only as "the Dealer." The Dealer was a legend in his own right, a man who never lost, a man who could make or break lives with a single game. He wore a full-face mask, revealing only his cold, dead eyes—eyes that saw everything and revealed nothing.
It was at the (name of the gambling house) that the Dealer first laid eyes on Seungcheol. Seungcheol's deft moves and charismatic presence drew the Dealer's interest, leading to an invitation to a private game—a game with stakes unlike any Seungcheol had ever faced. The deal was simple: if Seungcheol won, the Dealer would give him everything—all his properties, all his wealth. But if the Dealer won, he would own Seungcheol's life.
Seungcheol, arrogant in his abilities, accepted without hesitation. He'd beaten everyone else, after all. But the game was unlike any he had ever played. Cards changed, dice rolled in unexpected ways, and before he knew it, he had lost. The Dealer's chilling words echoed in his ears as he stormed out, accusing the Dealer of cheating even though he did the cheating. "Don't forget," the Dealer said, "your life is mine now. Even if you run, I will find you."
And so began Seungcheol's game of hide and seek. He tried to escape, but the Dealer was always one step ahead. No matter where he hid, the Dealer found him. It wasn't until one night, when he awoke in an unfamiliar room, that Seungcheol realized he was at the Dealer's lair. The walls were adorned with masks, each representing a soul lost to the Dealer's games. He wasn't alone, either. There were others like him.
The Dealer announced a the game: the game of life. The prize? Their freedom. The rules? Win, and you get your life back. Lose, and the Dealer would claim it forever. Seungcheol was forced to play, his pride shattered but his will to survive burning brighter than ever.
In the course of the game, Seungcheol met new allies, forming bonds in the face of adversity. He found himself falling, as he mentally asked himself 'are you fucking kidding me? falling inlove in the middle of the game, where our life is at stake?'
But as the challenges grew fiercer, as they played, alliances shifted, and friendships turned to betrayal.
With his spirit broken, Seungcheol had to decide whether to give up or fight back against the Dealer and his twisted game. It was no longer just about winning—it was about survival, and reclaiming the life that had been stolen from him. He knew that to do this, he had to outwit the Dealer at his own game, a task that would require all his cunning and skill. It was a gamble he couldn't afford to lose. Until he learned about a devastating truth: The one he trusted the most was the reason for his misery and why his friends started to turn their backs at each other. Seungcheol's world crumbled as he realized everything, the game was rigged from the start.
And the twist to the plot to his fucked up life was that he dealer all along was his beloved Jeonghan.
