AIRA

"Okay I'll stay."

As Aira agreed to stay, San's face softened with relief, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Thank you," he said softly, his voice warm with gratitude.

Leading her to the living room, San gestured for Aira to take a seat on the plush couch while he busied himself with setting up the movie. He selected a cozy romantic comedy, hoping it would help ease the tension between them.

As the opening credits rolled, San returned to the couch, sitting beside Aira with a comfortable distance between them. He reached for the remote, but hesitated, his fingers hovering over the buttons as he glanced at Aira.

"Would you like something to drink?" he offered, his tone gentle. "Or maybe some snacks?"

Aira nodded gratefully, a small smile playing on her lips. "That sounds nice," she replied, her voice soft. "I'll have whatever you're having."

With a nod, San rose from the couch and disappeared into the kitchen, returning moments later with a tray laden with drinks and snacks. He placed it on the coffee table between them, pouring glasses of wine for each of them before settling back onto the couch.

"I see you like to be fancy." Aira commented on his choice of drinks.

He chuckled nervously while rubbing on the back of his neck. "Well I'm not trying to get you drunk if that's what you're thinking"

"Everyone says that..." Aira joked.

"Well I'm not everyone, but I guess you have a point." San chuckled softly.

As they settled into the movie, sipping wine and nibbling on the snacks, Aira couldn't help but steal glances at San, her curiosity piqued by the events of the day. "So, how was practice today?" she asked, trying to break the ice.

San chuckled softly, taking a sip of his wine before responding. "It was... interesting.... " he replied, a hint of amusement in his voice. "And seeing you there was the most surprising part."

"How come?"

"Well.... Let's say I thought math or science was more your thing based on your personality that I got to see yet." His gaze shifted to the ground.

"Interesting way to put it there, my guy." She laughed at his comment.
"Science was never my thing to begin with."

A moment of silence fell between them as San tried to wash his first impressions away. He had a quick flashback of Aira at the practice match and how determined she looked while catching moments from every possible angle. San looked at her, a flicker of admiration in his eyes.

"You're really talented," he said sincerely. "I saw some of the shots you took, and they were amazing."

Aira felt a blush creep into her cheeks at the compliment, a warm feeling spreading through her chest. "Thank you," she murmured, feeling a surge of pride. "I'm glad you liked them."

"I believe the finished product going to look even better."He added.

As they chatted, Aira found herself opening up to San in a way she hadn't expected. They shared stories about their childhoods, their dreams and aspirations, and even their favorite movies and books. With each passing moment, Aira felt a sense of connection growing between them, a feeling of comfort and familiarity that she hadn't experienced before.

San, too, seemed to be letting down his guard, sharing stories and anecdotes from his own life with a surprising openness. Aira found herself drawn to his easygoing demeanor and charming smile, feeling a warmth spread through her as they laughed and joked together.
