Okay I am only putting this here to address the smell that both Y/n and Ness produce. Yes they both smell like skunks but the smell is so weak that a human would have to be within a foot of them or three feet for a faunus. Also since it is so weak, people can actually become desensitized to the smell which is why Neo can sit on our shoulders and not puke from the horrendous smell that is a skunk.

P.S. Most people don't mention it that much sense it's barely there, and those who do like other faunus also won't mention it as it would be seen as impolite.

Y/N's POV

I had everything packed and ready to go. It was time to catch the airship to Beacon Academy, but there was one small issue preventing me from leaving.

"Neo, can you please let go?" I asked, looking down at her. Neo was wrapped around my left leg, clinging tightly like a child throwing a tantrum. She simply shook her head, refusing to let go.

"Neo, I know Roman's hardly around these days thanks to fire bitch, but you still have Ness to keep you company... though, now that I say that out loud, I realize just how stupid that sounds." I sighed, realizing that wasn't much of a comfort. Neo, however, only tightened her grip on my leg, clearly determined to make this as difficult as possible.

I sighed again and tried a different approach. "How about this—I should get weekends off, so I'll come back down here on Saturdays to hang out with you. Deal?"

Neo was silent for a minute, contemplating the offer before shaking her head, rejecting the idea.

"Alright, alright, how about I visit on Saturdays and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Sundays?" I suggested, hoping to strike a compromise. Neo remained quiet for another moment, then finally, and very reluctantly, let go of my leg and stood up.

"Try to stay out of trouble... unless Roman tells you to make trouble," I told her with a smirk. She responded with a playful mock salute before bouncing away, clearly satisfied with our agreement.

Finally free, I made my way to the door, but the second I opened it, I heard two familiar words echoing through the hideout.

"MOTHER FUCKER!"

I couldn't help but chuckle to myself. 'Really, Neo? I haven't even left the building, and you're already terrorizing Ness,' I thought, shaking my head.

With a smile on my face, I stepped out of the hideout, ready to start this new chapter at Beacon Academy.

*****

I wandered around the airship for a while, trying to pass the time, when I suddenly felt a heated gaze burning into me. I turned toward the source and, unsurprisingly, found Mr. Highlighter from the entrance exam glaring at me once again. The man's disgust was practically radiating off him.

"Doth thee knoweth wherefore that gent keeps looking at us liketh yond?" a deep voice asked from behind me. I turned to see Michael, the giant Faunus from the entrance exam, standing there with a curious expression on his face.

I shrugged. "From the looks of it, I think he hates us."

"Well, I did get yond much from his glare," Michael responded, his old-fashioned speech still catching me off guard.

"I have a theory I'm going to test. Be right back," I said, walking over to the glaring man. Before I could even get a word out, he spoke first.

"Don't you dare try and speak to me, you mistake of a creation," he spat, venom lacing every word.
