3rd POV

Weiss, Ruby, Zemo, and Y/N were all hanging onto something very feathery and very fast, as evidenced by the loud wind whipping around them and the way the four of them were being blown sideways.

"Ruby! I told you this was a terrible idea!" Weiss shouted over the wind.

"What are you talking about? This is a fantastic idea!" Y/N shouted back, the thrill of the moment clear in his voice.

"Yeah! We're fine! So stop worrying!" Ruby added, clearly enjoying herself despite the chaos.

"I hate all of you!" Zemo barked, his frustration evident.

"I am so far beyond worrying!" Weiss screamed.

"In a good way?" Y/N asked with a grin.

"In a bad way! In a very bad way!" Weiss clarified, her panic obvious.

"Well, why don't we just jump?" Ruby suggested innocently.

"What are you? Insane?!" Weiss demanded, but her question was met with silence. Ruby had already disappeared.

"Bye, Weiss!" Y/N announced cheerfully as he let go and dove.

"See you on the ground!" Zemo said before following suit, launching himself after Y/N and Ruby.

"Oh, you idiotic little-!" Weiss began, but the scene shifted to Ruby, Y/N, and Zemo making their way to the ground.

Just as Ruby was about to land, Jaune came flying through the air and crashed into her, sending them both tumbling into a tree to the left of where Blake, Yang, Michael, and Octavia were standing. Ruby, dazed from the impact, slowly shook her head to clear the dizziness.

Meanwhile, Y/N cast a Protection Rune around himself, negating the force of his impact with the ground, landing smoothly. Zemo, ever the strategist, fired one of his pistols at the ground, using the recoil to soften his landing as he flipped mid-air, before firing another shot that sent him directly into the ground—on purpose.

"Oooohhh... What was that?" Ruby groaned, still a bit dizzy as she rubbed her head.

"Eh-hem!" Jaune, who was hanging upside-down from a tree branch, called out. "Hey, Ruby..."

"We all saw that properly, right?" Michael asked, looking around. Blake nodded, and Octavia gave an affirmative grunt.

"I..." Yang started to say, but before she could finish, the sound of crashing through the forest interrupted her. An Ursa came charging out, only to be hit in the back by a pink blast of energy that knocked it to the ground, where it lay still, its rider rolling off with a gleeful shout.

"YEEEE-HAAAAW!" Nora cried as she rolled off the Ursa's back, before groaning in disappointment as she inspected it. "Awwww... It's broken."

Nora dashed onto its neck, observing the now-dissolving creature as Ren jogged up behind her.

"Nora! Please... don't ever do that again." Ren panted, leaning against the dissolving Ursa. When he looked up again, Nora had already run off, causing him to look around frantically.

"Oooohh..." Nora awed as she approached the Temple, her eyes landing on a golden rook relic. She suddenly grabbed it and began to dance and sing, holding the chess piece above her head.

"I'm queen of the castle! I'm queen of the castle!"

Octavia watched in disbelief. "How the hell did she get over here so fast when we were just looking at her?" she muttered, not expecting an answer.
