The Truth

James would finally wake up after sleeping for a whole week and a half now feeling his Chi is 100% full along with his body is 100% healed his nose would pick up a delighted smell which then caused his stomach to rumble he almost forgot he hasn't eaten since his clan fought Zetamos. Getting up on his feet he slowly open the door and walked out the room he was moving slow and quiet as he follows the sent he look around the corner to see Dinah cooking on some weird metal box that was for some reason making everything hot this confused him so he got closer to take a look all while Dinah couldn't sense his presence when James finally spoke up it made her jump up out of surprise only a few people can sneak up on her like that.

Dinah: damn don't scare me like that kid.

James: I am sorry I assumed you knew I was behind you but I guest not once again I am sorry.

Dinah: well I couldn't but that was because I wasn't paying attention and there's no need to apologize also go sit down so you can eat I know your hungry.

James: yes ma'am.

Dinah and James would sit down at the table and begins to eat breakfast Dinah was about to take a bite of her eggs when she sees James scarfing but he immediately starts to choke which she just shook her head and handed him some napkins along with pouring him a glass of orange juice.

Dinah: and that is why we chew our foods and not scarf them down understand?

James: yes ma'am.

Dinah: good now lets talk about school what middle school did you go to?

James: what's a middle school?

Dinah: *shock* did you not go to school in Japan? 

James: umm no we didn't have those where I was from my clan kept to themselves mostly.

Dinah: I see... well we're definitely going to enroll you into high school next year but I guest I have to home school you.

James: ok by the way what is that big box thing you was cooking on top of?

Dinah: you mean the stove...?

James: yes what is that? how do you use it?

Dinah: well its called a stove and it is use to cook things it also come with a oven that can bake foods and sometimes reheat stuff have you never seen one before?

James: no we didn't have those back where I came from we mostly use a Kamado to bake things. 

Dinah: kid when was you born in the late 18th century? *chuckles*

 James: yes that's exactly when I was born how did you know that? 

Dinah: wait your serious right now? you was born in 1701? 

James: well yes I was what's surprising about that?

Dinah: kid that was nearly 322 years ago!!! how are you still alive? how are you here right now? how the hell are you still young?

 James: I honestly don't know myself all I saw was a flash of light and I was here.

Dinah: but who did it? was it magic?

James: I- honestly don't know but I remember seeing two giant creature and one tall person who skin was completely black and red with wing on his back then white light and I was transported into some weird building full of multiple people. 

Dinah: ok so how did you end up here? and don't lie to me kid if I'm going to help you get back in your time i'm going to need some answers.

James: but there's no point in going back to my time everyone I ever know is dead so why would there be any reason?

Dinah: *sigh* your right but i'm still going to need those answers so I can at least help you some more.

James: why would you help a kid who just try to kill you? a kid who got his whole family kill because he made two big mistakes? a kid who couldn't save the innocent lives during my battle? a kid who grew up training to become the next leader of his clan only to let them down in the end when he was needed the most why help a kid who doesn't deserve to live anymore? I deserve nothing but pain in my life especially because I didn't save no one. 

Dinah was shock to here a kid his age talk like he really doesn't deserve to live this truly did break her heart even though she help train kids who also lost their family she just couldn't imagine being a kid his age losing your family from two mistake you made along being bourdon with a tamandus responsibility all to get teleported to the future where everything is brand new and way to advance for you this is when she decided to take James under her wing and make him part of her family. Then she thought to herself  "Oh no i'm gonna pull a Bruce aren't I? well might as well plus I always wanted my own sidekick" getting up from her chair she walked towards him and took a knee to get a better look placed a hand on his and gently rub it. The feeling was something that reminded him of just his mother the way she would gently touch him letting him know that everything was find and that she will always love him then when Dinah started talking her voice really did reminded him of his mom especially how soft spoken she was to him James couldn't help but shed a rear to bad he couldn't feel it. 

Dinah: you want to know why I want to help you? it's because your a kid coming from a totally different time and country I know you may not look scared but I can tell deep down in your heart you are nothing but frightened and that's ok because your young your allowed to have those feelings and show them off and your allowed to live you want to know why...? well it's because since your the last of your family you have the privilege to honor their legacy and teachings your a good kid James so make sure you stay that way for you whole clan sake ok? now tell me how you managed to get here.

James: after I left the large building and went outside I saw a lot more people walking around it was a bunch of lights each one more brighter then the next even though it was night then two men in weird uniforms came up to me so I knock them out I quickly jump onto some buildings and ran away then I came across four guys with swords they call themselves the Kuro Okami gang at first I thought they was Samurai's but upon closer inspection they were clearly criminals so I jumped down knock out two of them and... killed the other two and eventually I ran away until my body got tired I slip and fell onto your balcony.

Dinah: I see so you was the one who killed those two men look I understand that back in your time it was ok to kill your enemies but now it is not ok to do that so next time you do something like that make sure you never kill them understand?

James: yes ma'am.

James: good another thing that Gang you mention the Jackals they are bad people I have a friend who's been tracking them down so stay away from them until I know you can truly protect yourself got it? 

James: yes I understand.

Dinah: good and another thing for the rest of the year I will be teaching you everything you need to know so be sure to pay attention I do not like to repeat myself understand?

James: yes ma'am I do.

Dinah: finish breakfast and I'll start teaching you the basics.
