News: good morning citizens of star city i'm Dana Koran from Chanel 4 we are standing outside of a building that was caught in a explosion last night police are saying that it was cause by unknown explosion they couldn't find any trace as to what it could have been on some more news the police have finally found the five girls wo went missing a few days ago for privet reasons we will not be saying their names but we were able to ask them some questions and each one of them said the same answer it was a short male figure who saved them and he went by the name Nightblade could this mean that Star city has a new vigilante watching over us? is he working with Green Arrow and his team? or is he a solo vigilante? and what his is goal? why is he doing this? but the real answer is who is he?

Screams that's all you can hear everyone was trying to either get away, hide, or kill him but each one was unsuccessful because Nightblade was everywhere each of the mob boss goons where knock out by a shadow figure others were burn, electrocuted, frozen or trap in a rock like prison dodging a kick Nightblade took out a kunai and stabbed it in his foot then kicked him in the nuts making him fall to the ground in server pain. Next he dodge a punch and counter with a head butt breaking the next goons nose grabbing his head James knees his jaw so hard it came off dropping the body he continues his walk down the hallway where he saw a metal door blocking his way so he turn around and walked away or that's what the mob boss thought he did. Until the door was busted down revealing Nightblade in his suit Poet tried to grab his gun but his hands were stop by one of James clones this freaked out the mob boss slowly walking towards him making sure everything he was doing was completely scary from how he moved to how he even breathed and by the looks on Poet face tells him it's working perfectly. Trying to scurry back he could feel his body not moving but he dare not to look back at the shadow clone kneeling down to his height level James did one hand sign and place his hand onto the mob boss leg at first there wasn't any pain then that's when it all started. 'Ninpo: bone reconstruction' soon after The Poet and feel his bones start to move around forming into different shapes and sizes even feel some of his bones literally coming out of his skin this was one of the worst pain he has ever experienced when Nightblade took his hands off the leg the pain quickly went away as it did came which was a relief for him m.
Nightblade: where are you keeping the other females.
Poet: I-I-
Nightblade: don't say you don't know otherwise the very next thing I do to you won't be even half as bad.
Poet: o-o-okay I'll t-t-tell you th-they are in the.... Die!
Thinking he got the best odds Nightblade by trying to stab him but that quickly backfired on him as James would of slap his hand away and punch him in the nose breaking it then he grabbed his wrist snapping it making the once feared mob boss cry in pain.
Nightblade: where are those females?
Poet: *cries* they are in a basement at a local supermarket.
Nightblade: the real location! you keep playing with me and I will kill you.
Poet: ok the real location is in a small old hospital where they keep the dead patient it's near Queen Industries you know the large towers? that's where they are!!!
Nightblade: good now say goodbye to your left ear.
Poet: wait what-
With one swift motion Nightblade cuts off the mob boss left ear with his Kunai then he kicked the Poet in his temple knocking him out cold and walked away he then teleports on top of the building picks up the kunai that he left there seeing the giant tower James proceeds to head towards it and starts looking for the small hospital. Now By the queen tower Nightblade looked around until he saw what looks to be a small yet large building with the hospital sign on the front but everything looks like it's ready to crumble but he guess that's what the signs says "Devolution Tomorrow". He jumped down to the ground and enter into the building Nightblade didn't have time for this as he turn around and walk through the doors and quickly went to free the females as he continued down to the basement he can hear the sounds of chains being ratel and small muffle screams then he heard a man voice speak up.
Man: *hums* you know ladies I must say Poet really picked out a good batch now who wants to go first hmm?... you... ok now sit tight and I will cut you nice and slow.
The female was crying trying to scream out for help but nobody could hear her this just made the man laugh even more until he was stabbed through the back by a blade he look at the sharp metal seeing his own blood was dripping down then he turns around to see Nightblade standing right behind him holding the other end of the weapon. Taking the blade out the male body dropped dead at his feet "sorry Dinah but I can't let certain people live" cutting the female bondages' setting her free he threw multiple shuriken at the rest of the female cutting their restraints letting them all go. Nightblade walk towards the shadow where his body would soon disappear now repapering within his room James picked up the kunai he left behind taking off his outfit and put them in a small hole in the corner then went to sleep. The next morning before Dinah could even come close to the door that's when James quickly open the door to meet her only half way close to the door this shock her a little.
Dinah: James it's nice to see your up come sit down breakfast is ready and we need to talk.
James: yes ma'am.
The two enter the dinning room James at down in the chair and waited for Dinah to bring the plates after she place down the plates full of food Dinah sat in her chair and the two would start eating.
James: so what is it you want to talk about?
Dinah: well your thirteen years old about to be fourteen in a few months and you learn the small basic of the future I was thinking about to enroll you in school but since you don't have any family members in this time I was thinking about adopting you.
James: adopt? what is that?
Dinah: right... ok so adopt means to basically take another parent's child into one's custody meaning since you have no parents I would have to take you into my care and become your mom,
James: so you would basically become my new mom?
Dinah: yes I would be now I am in no way shape or form trying to replace your mom it's just...
James: no I understand completely.
Dinah: good I always knew you would understand I already sign the papers it took a while due to some major complications but I did it and already signed the paper so you are James Blake Hayashi the adopted son of Dinah Black we are now Mother and Son officially.
