Throwing the towel on the bed, I made my way toward the closet and took out a three piece, navy blue suit.

Quickly wearing it, I made my way back to the bedroom where I saw Safira sitting on the edge of the bed, looking around the room.

Upon seeing me, she quickly stood up and uttered “Ammi is calling you for breakfast, be fast” Ammi called? And I guess I wasn't on your mind.

I sighed as I gave her a nod and fled away before I had a chance to speak up.

Quickly clasping the Rolex on my wrist I made my way downstairs, toward the dining table and greeted everyone present there.

Assalamualaikum

Everyone replied back with a greeting of their own.

Just as I was about to sit down on the chair, Aysar fled toward me before he settled down on the seat.

I gave him a bored look and looked around the hall to see if there was a vacant seat. I almost smiled when I saw an empty seat next to Safira empty.

Circling the table I made my way there before I settled down comfortably.

Just as I stood up after I was done with my breakfast, Ammi called me.

“Ahad, meet me in my room”

Giving her a nod I made my upstairs to my own room to get some of my work done.

Minutes later, I remembered that I had to go meet Ammi.

Quickly standing up, I fled toward her room to see she's sitting there with her legs and hands crossed on the bed.

Quickly composing myself I walked toward her.

“Yes, Ammi?”

“Ahad, as you see, it's been a day since your nikah, I want you to decide a date for your walima. And I want you to not shove yourself into your office and be here all the time before you go back to your house”

[Walima=wedding reception]

I haven't really thought about my walima yet, I'll think about it later.

I gave her a nod “I'll let you know the date Ammi”

“And what about you staying here?”

“I'll stay”

Saying so I exited her room and headed straight to my room where I saw Safira Standing in the balcony talking to someone on her phone.

Upon sending my presence she turned around, rolled her eyes and turned back again, resuming her talk.

Why does my wife hate me so much, again?

Rolling my eyes I turned my back to him and resumed my talk with Airah and Miral.

“At Least your husband is handsome” Airah said and I

again rolled my eyes  “what if he's a bad guy?” Miral voiced out her concern.

I chuckled as I answered “And? We love bad boys” I got a knowing giggle from her.

Talking to Airah and Miral is a Type of peace I find within no one.

It gives me confidence, no other thing except bhaiya and abaya can.

They are through me through thick and thin, convincing me that I can't be more grateful to Allah SWT for blessing me with them.
