VIHAAN'S POV

After their playtime, we all decided to treat ourselves to some ice cream. As we walked, I noticed Aarna seemed exhausted. Taking her hand in mine, I asked gently, "Aaru baby, do you want me to carry you?"

She looked at me, eyes wide with surprise, and asked, "Really?"

I smiled warmly and nodded. "Yes, baby," I affirmed. Scooping her up into my arms, she exclaimed, "Thank you Uncle" I smiled and replied your welcome bachu.

Aarna looked at me with surprise painted on her face and said, "You just called me like my mother calls me, uncle." I couldn't help but smile at her innocence and replied, "That's right, Aaru. Sometimes, it's nice to have someone to call you by such sweet names."

Soon, we arrived at the ice cream parlor and I looked at Aarna and Nishi, asking them, "So, which flavor do you girls want to eat?" Nishi replied, "Strawberry," while Aarna, after glancing at the flavors, chose a chocolate and vanilla mix. When Aarna mentioned her choice, memories flooded my mind. It was the same combination Shreya and I used to enjoy together, our go-to flavors. Since our separation, I hadn't touched ice cream. I simply couldn't it has many memories.

Aarna noticed my hesitation and asked, "Uncle, you didn't take any ice cream?" I smiled at her and replied, "No, Aaru, I don't like ice cream." She looked at me with wide eyes and exclaimed, "Who doesn't like ice cream, Uncle? Are you scared that your mamma will scold you if you have ice cream?" I chuckled at her innocent question and reassured her, "No, baby, I just don't like ice cream."

As the ice cream arrived, Aarna grabbed a spoon and said, "Taste this, Uncle. You will like it. It's my favorite ice cream." Her insistence melted my heart, and I couldn't refuse her. I smiled and accepted the spoon, allowing Aarna to feed me a bite of her favorite flavor. Despite my reluctance, her innocence and warmth made the moment truly special.

Later, I took numerous photos of Aarna on my phone—some solo shots, some with Nisha, and a few with Neil. There was one particular moment when I lifted Aarna into my arms while we shared the ice cream, and Neil managed to capture that candid moment without us even realizing. When I saw the picture later, I was surprised to find that I had set it as my phone's wallpaper. It seemed like something I did unconsciously, but there was a charm to it that I couldn't resist.

I offered to drop the girl, Pooja, who came along with Aarna, near her home. However, she politely declined, saying that their house was nearby and they could walk. Despite her refusal, I insisted on accompanying them until their house. Pooja reiterated that their building was just beside the ice cream parlor, so there was no need for us to walk them home. With a smile, I bid farewell to Aarna and Pooja.
