AUTHOR'S POV
Hearing the intense conversation between Vihaan and Sagar, Mahendra immediately took action. He stepped aside and pulled out his phone, swiftly dialing his most trusted informers.
"Listen carefully," Mahendra commanded, his voice steely. "Sagar had escaped from the prison and had kidnapped Aarna our officer Vihaan's daughter. We need to find him immediately. Use all available resources and keep me updated every step of the way."
His informers, understanding the urgency, assured Mahendra they were on it and began their search.
Returning to Vihaan and Shreya, Mahendra relayed the plan. "Vihaan, I've alerted all my informers. They're already working on finding Sagar and bringing Aarna back. We will save her soon."
Vihaan, holding the distraught Shreya in his arms, nodded his head. His expression was a mix of determination and desperation. "Thank you, Sir," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. He tightened his grip around Shreya, trying to offer her some semblance of comfort.
Shreya, sobbing uncontrollably, said "Please, bring my daughter back. I can't bear to think of her in danger."
Mahendra placed a reassuring hand on Shreya's shoulder. "We will find her, Shreya. I promise you. Sagar won't get away with this."
As they waited for updates, Even Vihaan's tech team continued their efforts to trace the call. The atmosphere in the room was thick with tension and worry. Vihaan's eyes were fixed on his phone, hoping for any news. Shreya clung to him, her sobs subsiding but her fear was palpable.
Minutes felt like hours as the team worked tirelessly. Everyone stayed awake the entire night looking for the clues and in search of Sagar who has Aarna with him.
Early morning Mahendra's phone buzzed, and he quickly answered. "Any news?" he asked urgently.
"Sir, we're closing in on the location. We'll have more precise information soon," came the reply from one of Mahendra's informers.
Mahendra relayed the information to Vihaan and Shreya. "They're getting close. We might have a location soon."
Shreya's grip on Vihaan tightened. "Please, hurry," she whispered, her voice breaking."We will, Shreya," Mahendra reassured her again. "We're doing everything we can."
The room fell silent as they awaited further updates, each second feeling like an eternity. Vihaan paced the floor, his mind racing through potential strategies.
Shreya remained seated, holding Rohan and drawing strength from the hope that the efforts would soon pay off.
Suddenly, Vihaan's phone rang again. Everyone's attention snapped to the device as he answered. He answered it curtly, "Yes."
Sagar's voice oozed with malice, "This is not how you should talk to the person who has your daughter, Vihaan."
Vihaan clenched his jaw, his grip tightening on the phone. "Fine. You want to set your conditions, right? What do you want?"
Sagar's laugh was chilling. "You want your daughter back? Then give me your wife. Take your daughter, or keep your wife—select one."
