sunoo and i stood in front of our managers, both of them wearing disappointed frowns.

"how do you not understand it's not alright for you to roam alone at night?" sunoo's manager pinched the bridge of his nose, seething in anger.

my manager looked directly at me and spoke, "and jay? you've been in this industry longer. how can you be so irresponsible? with no bodyguards, no safety. do you both realize if someone recognized you and stalked you, how bad it would be for you?"

i didn't bother correcting them about someone finding us. surprisingly, neither of us brought that topic up. we knew if our managers heard about it, we would be scolded even more. i looked directly at soobin and pleaded with my eyes to not have this conversation anymore. sunoo and i had finally relaxed, and i didn't want anything to make him feel bad again.

soobin looked at me, rolled his eyes, and turned to sunoo's manager. "yeonjun, i think they've had enough. let them be, and i'm pretty sure they understand." after completing his sentence, he glared at both sunoo and me.
