Late Night Munch - Chunkz

(Megan POV)

Why can't i fucking sleep? It's fucking 2am. Fucking insomnia is whopping my ass right and i ran out of tablets.

i've literally been scrolling through TikTok for the past 30 minutes and i don't feel tired. Like how long is this going to take?!

(A/N: Please someone realise i'm taking about the TikTok sound 😭😭)

As i go through my drafts, my stomach started rumbling. Seriously? So not only can i not sleep, but i'm hungry. The worst combo ever.

i sigh heavily and get out of bed. i slide into my slippers and walk down the stairs, trying not to wake anyone up.

i go into the kitchen and check the cupboards for any snacks. But it's empty. I should've known.

i just grab a water bottle from the fridge in defeat. Before i turn around, i feel arms wrap around my waist and someone's head hide in the crook of my neck.

i inhale a sharp gasp as the person scared the absolute shit out of me and out of the corner of my eye, i see Chunkz.

As soon as i realise it's Chunkz, i breathe a sigh of relief and instantly get butterflies.

What the hell is going on with me? He's my best friend, i shouldn't be getting butterflies.

"Holy shit, Chunkz, you scared me." i say with my heart on my chest. i feel my heartbeat and it literally beating so fast.

"Sorry." He says innocently in my neck and i can feel the smirk appearing on his face.

"Oh please. You're never sorry and you do it all the time." i turn the face him and hug him.

As we let go, he asked me "What are you even doing up?"

"i can't sleep and, before you ask, yes, i ran out of my insomnia tablets which is a problem now i think about it." i say making us chuckle as i take a sip of my water, "What about you?"

"i cant sleep too but i don't know why."

"Maybe because i'm in your mind all night." i say teasing with him as i put my water on the table. We're always teasing and flirting with each other so this is normal.

"Sure, keep telling yourself that." He says laughing a bit.

"But on a serious note, do you have like any leftover food? Fucking starving."

"Yeah, there should be some leftover chinese in the fridge since you didn't eat yours. Remember?"

i don't think i've turn around so fast in my whole life. i opened the fridge and saw my special fried rice. Next to it was some dumplings and BBQ ribs.

"Can you grab Aj's as well for me please?" Chunkz asks me.

"Why do you want to eat Aj's?"

"Because i ate mine earlier and if he screams at me, oh well." He shrugs it off like it was nothing.

"Damn, okay." I pass him Aj's food and plates his up. i plate my food with a few dumplings and ribs. i place it in the microwave and lean on the counter next to Chunkz.

For payback, i start to tickle him while he plates his food. Yep, that's his weakness.

"Oi! Oh so you want to play that game? Okay, that's fine, Megan." he says as i'm already running into the living room.
