April's Job Interview

May's P.O.V.

I got out my phone and called April. She didn't answer, I called her phone a few more times, still no answer. I grabbed my sweat pants and my white tank top. I changed into that and walked out the door. 'She couldn't have gone far. I walked down the streets and I saw a figure walking. I got closer and It had four legs. I squinted my eyes and saw what it was. 'A coyote' I slowly backed away. It followed me slowly. I booked it. I ran for my life. I turned alot of corners and lost it. While I was running further down a block just to make sure I lost it. I bumped into someone. I looked up to see April. I pulled her into my arms and hugged her. "Uh hello?" She says blankly.
"Don't you ever go off without telling me, you had me worried sick!" I say shaking her. "Okay, mom" I pulled her down the block and back home. We made it home and she got in the shower. After that we both fell asleep.

April's P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock going off. I turned it off and got out of bed. I grabbed my nike sweatshirt and black leggings, then, I got my nike shoes. I grabbed my phone and stuck it in my pocket. I went downstairs and saw May sitting the listening to her baby blue beats she was twerking and saying stuff like 'AYE!' or 'TURN UP' she is way more energetic than me. My mom told her to shut up and she didn't listen. I laughed, I taped her shoulder. She took off one side of her beats and tilted her head up signaling me to talk.
"Are you ready to go to school or not?" I asked her. She got her car keys and we got in the car. She rolled down all the windows and bumped her music,then, drove off. While we were driving I saw Malak walking with Jaden. "Aye look who it is!" I say pointing to the two of them. May slowed down and pulled over next to them. "Aye little nigga's" May says. 'She is being really weird today'
"Waz up" Jaden says with a wink. Malak just stood there with his hands in his pockets looking down.
"You boys want a ride?" May asked. "Sure, why not!" Jaden smiled. "Hey April, lets me sit here" he grabbed 5 dollars out of his pocket trying to hand it to me. "Keep your money you man whore!" I rolled my eyes then opened the door and got in the back seat with Malak. Jaden and May grabbed eachothers hands and intertwined fingers. 'Ew that's disgusting'
I looked over at Malak and he still looked sad. I bumped my shoulder into his and he looked at me. "What's wrong?" I asked.
"Nothing im fine" he says.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I promise I'll be fine" he looked me in the eyes and smiled. I looked into his eyes and got lost in them. By the time I realized we were still gazing into eachothers eyes, we were at summer school.

I rushed to May's car and she was already there. My job interview is going to start soon. We both got in the car and drove to Chilli's. I got out the car and May stayed in the car. "Good luck" she yelled. 'Thanks' I mouthed to her. I walked into Chilli's and the lady told me to follow her.

I walked out of the restaurant with a frown on my face. I got in the car and closed the door. "How'd it go?" May asked.
"The interviewer said that" I paused and sigh "they said t-that I" I pause again.
"That what!?" May says anxiously. "That I would be an awsome employee!" I yelled.
"Oh my gosh thats great!" She hugged me.
"Now all we have to do is wait for your call!" I say. May nodded. We got home and I took a shower.
