Pushed To The Limit (Malak Watson and Jaden Rosa)

April's P.O.V.

I woke up and took a shower and did all that good stuff. I got my clothes on and got in May's car. I drove to work to do my shift. I was on my break and Malak kept on texting me.

Malak: How's work going?

Me: Good, ig. Why do you keep texting me?

Malak: Cause we r friends, right?

Me: Nah, we ain't friends.

Malak: oh, ok, then what are we ?

Me: We r friends, but then we ain't friends, you get me?

Malak: Yeah, ig

Me: I gtg, bye

Malak: Wait, where do u work again?

Me: Chilli's, now I gtg

I put my phone in my pocket and went back to work.

Skipping Work

I went back home and put on my outfit. Me, May, Jaden, and Malak were all going down to Sana Monica Pier. They are supposed to Pop some Fireworks over there. Me and May got in the car and drove to pick up Malak and then, we drove to get Jaden. May got out of the car and knocked on the door. When Jaden opened the door Danielle kissed him. 'I hate them together, I NEVER wanted them to be together in the first place, all he is going to do to her is use her, break her heart, play her, (ext.) Do anything that hurts her. But, May doesn't see that. I want to tell her but, I dont know how to.'
I looked out the window looking at the street passing by as May drove, I just stared out the window thinking. We finally made it to the beach and set up the blankets. Malak was putting up the batminton court, Jaden was setting up the chairs around the camp fire and I was setting up the table and putting all of the smacks on it. After I was done with that I went to get the ice chest from the trunk of the car. I put it next to the table and got a soda, then, I sat down. Malak was sitting there shuffling cards to play speed are something like that.
"Wanna play a round of speed?" I asked him.
"No" he paused looking up at me then, he smirked "Im not your friend, So, I can't play with a stranger."
"Oh my gosh Mal, just play with me" I tried to grab the cards from him but he moved them out the way. I lost my balance and stumbled over. I fell on top of Malak and he turned a light shade of pink. I could feel my cheeks heating up. I know I was blushing by now. "I-im sorry" I say getting off him.
"It's fine." He got off of the floor and I set up the speed game. Every once in a while we would touch eachothers hand. When that happened I moved my hand away. We continue to play speed and he ended up winning the first round. That's the round I warm up on. All of the rest of the rounds I won. "Ha you suck Malak!" I laughed. "I dont suck you just aren't on my level yet, but, its okay."
I looked around and saw alot of people playing in the water and building sand castles. Me and Malak were done playing speed so we were walking along the shore of the beach, it was a very pretty sight. I found a seaweed and it was a long piece. I dragged it along the sand and spelled my name with it. Malak grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. We walked along the shore a little while longer, then we turned around. May and Jaden were all cuddling with eachother up on the sand. "Get up, we are going to the pier." Malak yelled. Jaden and May got up and ran up to the pier. They brought the all day wristband for all off us. Jaden and May went on the roller coaster while me and Malak went to the bumper carts. Malak kept on bumping into me while I was just minding my business. We got on alot of other rides then met up with May and Jaden at the food places. May had a giant Jamaican Banana in her hands. We all ate then went to the Ferris Wheel, since it was getting dark. Me and Malak were at the top waiting for other people to get on. While we were waiting Malak pulled me in for a long an passionate kiss. I was shocked, but I kissed back.
