May's P.O.V.
The waiter comes with our food.
He sets down two trays; one of them had a burger and fries and the other tray had the same thing but it also had a ice cream. I ordered chicken nuggets so April and Malak grab their food I sit there still waiting for my food to come. I take out my phone and scroll through Instagram. After a few minutes of waiting the same guy comes back and puts a tray in front of me. "Sorry for the long wait." he says to me. I look up from my phone and me and the guy make eye contact.
"O-oh your good."
"Do you guys need anything else?" he asked.
I look at Malak and April and they shake their heads no.
"No. I think we are good"
"Alright. If you need anything just ask for Jeremy."
"Alrighty" I say to him. I open my barbecue sauce and dip a chicken nugget in there. I take a bite out of it and I look at Malak eating his ice cream.
"Hey Malak" I say getting his attention. He hums in response.
"You should buy me an ice cream"
"No sweetie. I shouldn't "
"Go ask Jeremy... He said if you need anything just ask." April says.
"Anything" Malak winks as he eats a spoon of ice cream.
"Oh my gosh he didn't mean it like that" I laughed with Malak.
"Well" April says "Anything..." she wiggles her eyebrows.
"I want free ice cream!" I say. I didn't mean to shout but itbcame out louder than I expected. I look up and I see Jeremy smiling. I put my head down embarrassed.
"Did someone say they wanted free ice cream?" I hear a familiar voice say.
I put my head up to see Jeremy holding 3 ice creams. He hands one to April and she says thank you.
"O-oh...no I can't take this" I say looking at him.
"Its my treat" he smiles at me.
"Well. I guess ill take it...thank you"
"No problem. Do you guys mine if I join you? I have a break right now " he says.
"Sure" Malak says.
We all talk and it was pretty fun. Me and Jeremy had a lot in common.
Meeting him was the start of something great. We exchange numbers and Jeremy has to leave.
That was a great start of a new friendship......mabey even something more................................................................................................................ HA SIKE. We are just friends.
