i saw him smile today
that alone made my entire week
i don't know if he was smiling because of me
or something else

either way, seeing him happy
makes me happy
and i wouldn't have it
any other way

you know that ring i gave him
well he did something unexpected
he gave me a chaos emerald in return
i was understandably surprised but i guess i appreciated it

i don't think he knows how to gift people
i respect the fact that he's trying though
maybe i should get amy to teach him
