Meet Selena (End)

WE'VE been together for almost four years now, and guess what?! We are getting married.

I didn't conceive an offspring, maybe I wasn't fertile during that night I lost my virginity. Hindi naman kami nagmamadali.

I smiled at that thought, time flies so fast and I am still madly in love with Lavine. He's not gay at some point. But most of the time he is, and I am loving that.

Kinakabahan akong nakatayo sa entrada ng simbahan at dahan-dahang naglakad papasok. The door opened and I saw my parents, friends especially Letti who sits beside Brix, Lavine's relatives, and other closely related people.

Tears started to flow in my eyes nung makita ko si Lavine kahit malayo pa ay naaaninag ko siya. He's standing in front of the altar looking so handsome in his all-white suit and slacks, he's eyes are sparkling while looking at me at parang iiyak na.

Lavine's parents are looking at me with a happy and proud expression, maging ang kapatid nito na si Lavert na pinagselosan ko noon. Funny to think na I felt jealousy towards his brother. Kasama naman ng kapatid niya ang asawa at anak.

Lavine and his dad already reconciled. I felt really happy for it because their family is okay now.

I saw mom standing next to dad and they are teary eyed while looking at me. Lumapit sa akin si dad at niyakap ako ng mahigpit, he accompanied me patungo sa altar.

The ceremony commenced and I am beyond happy.

I reminisced sa mga nangyari between me and Lavine bago kami umabot sa puntong 'to. He courted me many times kahit hindi niya talaga alam anong gagawin to have my 'yes,' to be his official girlfriend.

Kahit hulog na hulog na ako sa kaniya ay nagpapakipot pa rin akong sagutin siya. It was a chaotic and epic moment when he got my answer.

I was busy that time doing my task being a copywriter in an ad publication company, stressed out and lack of sleep because I felt pressured. It's my first time having my job and I am doing my best to give my all.

He came to my office to bring a freshly cooked lunch for us kasi sasamahan niya akong kumain, palagi niya yang ginagawa kahit abala din siya sa work niya and I am always grateful for him.

But instead of greeting him with a wide smile, I was furious at that time. I forgot to save my work and my laptop went shut off. Shit lang talaga.

"CAN YOU PLEASE LEAVE ME FOR A WHILE?!" I exasperatedly shouted. He got stunned, hindi ko siya pinansin at every time at that very moment I will breakdown.

Abala ako sa pag-recover ng laptop ko and I am crying na, hindi ko na alintana yung presensya niya. Nalalapit na yung deadline at mamayang gabi na yun but I am still trying to begin again, I forgot to back up my previous work. I'm so dumb.

There are many times that I was having an impulsive and hot tempered nature especially in some cases pag hindi ko na alam anong gagawin, it was him who could ease me.

I got calmed when he hugged me from my back and mumbled words that made me calm more. Dinama ko lang yung yakap niya and in a while ay inakay niya ako, he carried me patungo sa couch at hindi niya alintana ang bigat ko.

Pinagmasdan ko lang siya na abala sa paghahanda ng pagkain at inilagay niya ito sa center table. I saw that he cooked my favorite adobong manok and fried rice. He's always thoughtful.

Tahimik lang kaming kumakain at nung matapos ay niligpit niya ang aming pinagkainan, mayamaya ay umupo siya sa office table ko and did something on my laptop.

Dahil sa busog at pagod ay kinain na ako ng antok.

I woke up and panicked nang makita ko sa wall clock na alas syete na ng gabi. Shit, I sleep deeply. Nakita ko si Lavine na nakayukong natutulog sa table ko, my eyes widened when I saw that he already submitted my work. Did he finish writing my document?

I checked it again and I'm not mistaken he submitted my finished paper, some paragraphs are made by me while the others seems like he was the one who did it.

I stared at his sleeping face and I am so thankful that he saved me, I don't know how to thank him. I placed a chaste kiss on his lips but the next thing surprised me nang hawakan niya ang likod ko at mas hinapit ako sa kaniya, deepening the kiss. I reciprocated it at humiwalay lang kami nung kinakapos na kami ng hininga.

Malapit pa rin ang mukha namin sa isa't-isa and we are staring to each other's eyes.

"Thank you very much, I don't know how to thank you--" he cut me off.

"Just one kiss and you are already paid." He jokingly said pero tinotoo ko naman. After the kiss, I finally divulged my unsaid thought.

"It's a yes, this might be a chaotic day but I am heartily stopping you to court me. Sinasagot na kita." And with that, we are officially together.

Napangiti ako while looking back at that epic moment, he's really the one for me.

"You may now kiss the bride," napangiti ako sa narinig mula kay Father. Lavine look at me happily at inalis niya ang nakaharang na veil sa mukha ko, he cupped my jaw and the next thing we did made us officially husband and wife.

We kissed passionately and all I can feel is happiness and love rushing through my heart. I heard everyone clap and some happily cheered.

"I love you so much, wife." And he kissed me again.

"I love you too, mahal." I responded in between our kisses.

At this very moment, I feel our love fills the air we breathe in. Our love story ends here but it will last for a lifetime, whatever fate will throw at us.
