The Life of a Star

Gravitational collapse

The cataclysmic beginning

Discerning perhaps

That this is my own beginning

The protostar

Becoming built from the parent molecular cloud

Manufactured from the reservoir

By the doctrine enshroud

The t-tauri phase

Surrounding envelope cleared

One in it's own ways

A true individual appeared

The high-mass star

Beautifully luminous however momentary

The fury burning of who you are

However, now you are arbitrary

The red super giant

Pilfering hydrogen and helium to complete fusion

One last act of your defiance

'Til your core becomes colored as your contusions

The supernova

Collapsing and exploding

Succumb to your nervosa

Your luminosity eroding

The black hole

Epitome of the concept, annihilation

An empty soul

My own ending from the universe's asphyxiation
