I try to sleep but I can't shut my eyes
I try to eat but I feel like throwing up
I try to speak but my lips stay shut
I try to go on but everything tells me to stop
I try to scream but my voice stays quite
I try to think but my mind goes blank
I try to keep going but everything tells me to stop
I try to keep pushing but my body is drained
I try to stay strong but I feel weak
I try to keep staying up but my legs are tired
I try so hard to simply survive
I try and try and try
And sometimes it seems like it's all working out
It's getting better
I'm being happy
But then later again
Everything goes on from the start
And I keep trying
And trying
And trying
