chapter seven

You finally reached the VIP room breathing heavily, everyone turns their attention to you and the first one to come up to you was Hermes.

"You look like your in a hurry dear (y/n), let's get you seated down"

You felt Hermes arm wrap around your waist and bring you closer to him, his other hand connected with your fingers and he walked you towards an empty seat.

You felt a few glares come your way but you where caught up trying to catch your breath that you didnt look up. Instead you looked forward, towards the arena where you could see Lu Bu coming out wrapped like a mummy, you swore you didnt he him like that before. Your thoughts? He liked making an entrance.

"I'm not late..." you sighed in relief and politely declined when Hermes asked if youd like anything.

You watched as what wrapped about Lu Bu started to rip apart, revealing his toned and muscular body. His tattoos around his arms and upper back, his long hair swaying in the wind. For some reason your heart began to be faster.

Cheering was heard on humanity's side when his name was announced. You could see him army shouting for him too, even a young man crying with a smile on his face.

You glanced a thor, who had been staring at you for a while. You where surprised and looked away, but he caught onto the slightly changed of color on your face. You looked at Lu Bu who was riding to the center of the arena. Both fighters had an expressionless face, just cold eyes staring at the other.

"Representing the gods, her comes the Nordic force, the berserker of thunder himself!..."

"THOR"

You looked back at thor, who started to remove their coat and throw it into the air. He held Mjölnir on his shoulder.

'Wouldn't that weigh you down?' The hammer was big, but it had a smaller handle to grab it. Your sure that if you tried to pick it up, your arms would break.

You watched Lu Bu get of his horse and hold his hand out, waiting for something. Suddenly a light came down from the sky and straight into his hand, where it morphed into spear.

His army behind him began to cheer loudly, slightly surprising you with their wild shouts. You heard a drunk old guy start scolding Lu Bu on why he was waiting so long. It surprised you again since the match hadn't even started yet.

Heimdall stretched his arms out and looked up, preparing to do something. Theres that look of yearning in his eyes, or the look of finally being able to have something. He moved his hand and held the horn in front of him, gathering air into his lungs. You didnt hear the voice of Odin as a beautiful sound was played, a beautiful melody playing in your ears.

It was beautiful, but it signified the end, or rather Ragnarok.

'Poor guy..' you smiled slightly when you saw a tired Heimdall catching his breath and scrambling back, a safe distance from both fighters.

"Now then, the mightiest of the gods is primed, and the mightiest of men is ready!"

"Without further ado, may the first round commence!"

Both fighters had suddenly lowered their guards and weapons, which confused the crowd. Lu Bu was the first one to take a step first, then followed thor. They both dragged their weapons behind them and they continued to step forward.

"Huh, Neither looks interested in their enemy's next move. As if they dont care about taking advantage of any strategies."

"I had a feeling things might go this way"

A small smile appeared on your lips, you turned to shiva who had spoken.

"Well, it is thor who lu Bu is against"

They stood before each other, gripping their weapons in their hands. They had an intimidating aura, almost suffocating.

Lu Bu's grip on his spear tighter and he spins it in his hand as he lifted his arm up. He leaned back and and threw his arm forward again, bring his weapon down to strike thor but in an instant thor's hammer was up against it.

It created a strong impact, and you had to cover your eyes to not get dust in them.

'Oh my.....who knew such glares had so much impact!' You where practically at the edge of your seat as you watched them both.

Thor was suddenly pushed back, away from lu Bu. He buried his feet in the ground to stabilize himself before he goes to far. Lu bu rushed back at him with his staff raised in the air, ready to attack him again.

Thor moved his hammer up again, stopping lu by from whatever he had planned and pushed him back. Once Lu Bu had regained his balance thor had rushed forward to him again.

Their weapons made contact again, and the ground below them cracked.

"Its an even match! Neither can overpower the other"

"Who could have predicted such a shocking turn of events?!"

"A mere human matching thor's opening attack? Rather impressive indeed. I'll give the mortal that much. They may have false hope of victory, as they've yet to witness thor's true power."

You groaned slightly, biting the inside of your cheek as you heard zues, your father, speak that way for the human HE created.
