Killer sighs a little bit as he places his phone down on the bedside counter after looking at the time "2:27.." he mumbles under his breath.. he yawns a little bit, rubbing his eyes as he laid down.
Before Killer could even close his eyes, his 'roommate' Dust shot up from his bed, panting a lot.. covered in cold sweat.
Killer stared at Dust before laying back down, he's not dealing with this.. nah just kidding.
He got up, walking over to Dust's side of the room before sitting down on his bed, patting his back softly.
Dust looked at Killer before slapping his hand away from him "don't touch me.." he said in a hiss. The hit caused a groan from Killer, this isn't the first time Dust has had a night-terror like this.. Nightmare loves it since it gives him more negativity to feed off of but definitely not Killer since he couldn't get a good night of sleep due to Dust's shitty attempts to hold back his sobs.
Killer just watched Dust as tears swell up in his eyes, watching the smaller try and hold it together.. fuck. Looks like it'll be another sleepless night for Killer.
Killer just watched Dust.
Thirty seconds turn into a minute, a minute turn into two minutes, two minutes turn into ten minutes, ten minutes turn to— wait.. Dust stopped crying after about ten minutes.
But instead of going back to sleep, Dust opened his arms up, looking up at Killer expectingly.
Killer did nothing, staring at Dust "..what?" He asked and that made Dust blush purple.
"Hug me god damn you idiot!" Dust said in a soft yet embarrassed tone.
Killer stared at Dust more but only for a split second this time before pulling him into for a warm hug.
Dust looked up at Killer before slowly wraps his arms around Killer's body.. inside Killer's arms feels oddly.. safe?
Kinda ironic if you think about it since Killer is literal a serial killer who would kill someone without hesitation.
The two just stayed like this for a long while.. it's kinda therapeutic for Dust not going to lie.. soon his eyes started to get heavy and he ends up falling asleep, Killer following after him just a few minutes after Dust did.
