Chapter 6

The rest of the study session went the same, Jungkook was able to answer most of the questions but unlike Taehyung that didn't earn him any praise, but Jungkook was still happy that at least he wasn't getting humiliated and scolded.

It was the next day, and Jungkook and Taehyung were getting ready in their respective room.
Jungkook's eyes and cheek were red, as he got slapped in morning right after waking up.
It wasn't his fault right? That he was awake the whole night completing the extra assignments he got because of missing training?
But Jimin wasn't ready to understand, and as he saw Jungkook just whining to sleep more, he hardly slapped the boy across his face and woke him up.

"It re-really hurts hy-hyung..." sobbed Jungkook as he caressed the imprint of Jimin's fingers softly. He kept crying while looking in the mirror until his gaze fell to the clock.
"Shit shit Jungkook you are really late now." wiping off his tears quickly he ran downstairs, thankfully the others had just settled on the dining table so he wasn't very late.

"I woke you up, didn't I? Then why are you still so late?" asked Jimin, as everyone understood what must have happened seeing Jimin's tone and Jungkook's face.

"So-sorry hyung." apologised Jungkook, Jimin ignored his reply and Jin motioned Jungkook to sit down and then they all started eating the food.

Throughout the time, Jungkook kept contemplating whether to ask about his training or not, he had already angered them in the morning, asking it right now would just be like adding fuel to the fire. But the schedule was really getting hectic now, and he could barely manage things at this point especially when his exams were coming up soon.

If he doesn't do the training properly then he would be punished, and if he doesn't score good then too. So either way he would be doomed. Finally Jungkook decided to face whatever would happen and called out for Jin, "Hyung," said Jungkook as everyone looked at him the very instant. Jungkook smiled awakardly and said "Jin Hyung," Jin motioned him to continue and Jungkook spoke, "Can y-you pl-please reduce my training a little till my exams are over, pl-please?" asked Jungkook hoping his best that Jin would agree.

Jin looked at Jungkook with a hint of annoyance. "No, Jungkook. We can't just bend the rules for you. Everyone has exams, but they manage their schedules properly. You should have thought about this earlier and studied on time instead of keeping everything for last."

Jungkook looked down, a lot of thoughts running through his mind. He really wanted to shout at his hyungs at the moment and tell them how they had always been so unfair to him, he wanted to beg them to love him.
But all his broken soul could comvert to words was, "Okay Hyung, thankyou so much." his voice not wavering even the slightest and remaining firm as ever.

And then forgetting about the incident they all got back to eating and went on like as if nothing happened.
Jungkook really wanted Jimin to assure him or hug him or tell him that he wasn't angry anymore, he could never bear his hyung's anger but he also knew that he would receive none of it.

Taehyung could sense his brother's mood was down. "Hey bunny... Cheer up, Hyung will help you with your assignments hmm?" flaunted Taehyung, referring himself as hyung, even if they were just minutes apart.
"Yeah yeah and how exactly will you help me with my mafia assignments, hyungggg?" teased Jungkook and then they both bursted out in laughter. Taehyung was happy that he was successful in diverting his brother's mood.

"Hyung you go, I will just come after taking my books from the locker." said Jungkook, Taehyung nodded his head and left for his class.
He was almost there, when Kai came to him.

Kai had been trying to propose Taehyung since months, but everytime he tried to do so Jungkook would come and take away Taehyung. Finally he found Taehyung alone, and took the opportunity.

"Tae... I-I really like you a l-lot. Will you please give me a chance to date you?" asked Kai, while being all red. Taehyung looked at him awakardly not knowing what to reply.

" See Kai, I really don't s-see you in that way and I-I have no feelings for you." replied Taehyung which broke Kai's heart but he wasn't ready to give up as he came forward and hugged Taehyung tightly.

"No No tae... Just give me a chance and I will make you fall for me... Just one chance." Taehyung struggled in Kai's grip  but he wasn't ready to let go. "Leave me pl-please." cried out Taehyung.

Right now he was more scared for Kai, knowing Jungkook might come here any moment and then Kai is surely dead.

Kai, however, seemed determined not to give up. "I won't let go until you agree to give me a chance," he insisted, his grip tightening with each moment.

Just then they heard footsteps and Tae knew Jungkook was here.

"HOW DARE YOU TOUCH MY BROTHER?" Shouted Jungkook, pulling Taheyung away from the nasty grip of Kai.

"Why? Does your brother needs to be babysitted 24/7?" mocked Kai, and the next second a punch landed on his face.

Taehyung stood there numb trying to process the words, he always hated being weak and how he needed to be protected by someone younger than him.
And today when someone openly poked his insecurity infront of everyone, all he felt was hatred and jealousy for Jungkook for being the stronger twin.

Jungkook and Kai were still fighting, Jungkook was easily able to overpower him, thanks to his training. But Taheyung just kept misunderstanding him further as his loath increased.

"NEVER EVER SHOW YOUR PATHETIC FACE TO ME!" screamed Jungkook punching Kai for the last time as he got up only to see Namjoon and Hosoek standing right in front of him.
