Am I Not your brother, hyung?

Chapter 28

Hearing what the other person said, Jin's phone fell from his hand and hit the floor. It took him a good 5 minutes to compose himself, as he quickly dialed their father's secretary number to confirm the information.

"Hey, uncle... Ap-appa is fine right? I-is he with you? Can I-I talk to him..." stuttered Jin, almost crying not caring about what the secretary might think.

"Jin, child composes yourself. The mansion was attacked out of the blue, though we were able to escort your father successfully, but they attacked the car too. Our forces arrived too late. But don't worry, he is all fine... Hmm? You come here as soon as possible, and just you. Understood?" Hoshi, the secretary said, his voice getting stern at the end.

"Y-yes uncle." without telling anyone, Jin left for USA. Hoshi had already arranged the private jet for him, making his task a lot easier.
By the time he reached there, the visiting hours ended, so he had to wait for the next day.

'Wait, did Yoongi planned this to stop appa from coming?' thought Jin to himself, without wasting further time he pulled out his phone and dialed Yoongi's number.

"Wh-what happened hyung?" asked Yoongi in sleepy voice, as he just woke up from Jin's call.

"What did you do to stop appa from coming?" asked Jin in a chilly voice, and Yoongi's face became white in fear.

"Wh-what do you mean...hyung?" questioned Yoongi.

"You know what exactly I mean Yoongi, and if my assumption is correct you are in deep trouble."

"I asked one of our companion to stop appa from coming here." replied Yoongi timidly.

"And how exactly you asked them to stop him?" asked Jin, sensing the dots were connecting in just the way he thought.

"I asked them to d-do whatever they want... I-is everything okay hyung? Is appa fine?" spoke Yoongi, and then proceeded to know about the well-being of their father.

Jin on the other side was fuming in anger. He somewhat understood their appa's reason of not liking the twins, but that didn't waver his love for his father even a bit. He had been the best father to all 5 of them.

"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND YOONGI?" Whom did you even ask to do it?" screamed Jin, in pure anger.

Yoongi was sure he would have peed in his pants if this conversation was taking place face to face and not on the phone, but gathering his courage he spoke, " Sorry hy-hyung but I can't tell you that." furthering fueling Jin's anger.

"Arghhh," groaned Jin.

"I will deal with you later. Just because he doesn't like Taheyung and Jungkook doesn't give you the right to risk his life Yoongi. He is still our father, the one who raised us with utmost love and care. I swear to god  if something happens to him, I will kill you myself." and with that he cut the call.
In the meantime, Hoshi came back with the red visitor card, the card with which you could visit anytime and handed it over to Jin.

"Go meet him Jin, but remember one thing he has been injured baldy at his head. His anger is at its peak, he might ask for weird things. Fulfil anything he asks for, and make sure he doesn't get angry. Not at all. Got it?" explained Hoshi and Jin nodded hurriedly and then left to meet his father.

Upon reaching his room, Jin saw his father covered in various wires all over his body, the IV needle harshly stuck in his soft skin. He started sobbing softly not being able to witness the sight. He was about to turn back and leave the room when he heard his name being called in a husky voice.

"J-jin baby," spoke out Mr Kim with great difficulty.

Jin halted in his steps, his back still facing Mr Kim. Tears were flowing nonstop from his eyes. He never imagined he would have ever to witness his father in such a sight. He was himself a child when he lost his mother, and now seeing his father like that was crumbling his world apart.  

"Jinnie," called out Mr Kim again with great difficulty. And that's it, Jin ran to him and hugged him tightly sobbing on his chest.

"Shh ba-baby I am all fine... Stop crying." tried to soothe Mr Kim with his aching body. His heart was clenching seeing his eldest so miserable, but somehow he never had the same feeling with his youngest sons.

They both hugged each other for another 5 minutes when Mr Kim whispered something unexpected, "Want Kookie and Tata," Jin was freaked out, Hoshi had clearly told him to do whatever Mr Kim would ask to and not make him angry but he couldn't let his babies come here either and open their trauma.

"You want Tae and Kook,hmm?" softly questioned Jin to confirm. Mr Kim slowly nodded his head, "Wait I will call them, you can talk to them,hmm?" tried Jin, a futile attempt to escape the inevitable. As he fished his hand in his pocket to pull out his phone, his actions were halted by Mr Kim.

"Want them here, ca-call them." and with that he slept. Jin could confirm he was sleeping and didn't faint by his snorings but now he had another headache. He had to somehow convince Jungkook and Taehyung to come here.

He knew Jungkook would agree in an instant, because of the fear they had instilled in his heart but convincing Taehyung would a difficult task.

He was in dilema, he didn't wished to cause more pain to his brothers, but he couldn't risk his father's health with something so fatal either. Yoongi was definitely in for a long punishment.

Coming out of the room, Jin again called Yoongi and asked him to wake up Taehyung and Jungkook. They had to leave this very instant so that they could come here by the time their father wakes up again.

"Taheyung and Jungkook, I want you both here by morning. Appa wants to meet you, he is in hospital. And no arguments!" saying this Jin cut the call, on the other side Taehyung and Jungkook who had just woken up barely understood what happened.

Right after Yoongi received a text
"It's your duty that they board the plane in next hour. Send only both of them, no one else!"

Yoongi groaned in frustration, everything was going the exact opposite, he thought that Jin was working on his emotions and not thinking rationally not knowing what harm he had caused to his father.
