Chapter 33

Namjoon's and Jin's thought broke by the voice of Jungkook sobbing loudly, and an equally crying Taehyung standing beside him and supporting his limp body.

Jin ran outside to them while Namjoon stayed there listening to Eunwoo.
"I will give him an antidote right now for the poison." spoke Eunwoo, and Namjoon barely heard him. His mind was clouded, and the further things Eunwoo spoke appeared vague to him.

Giving a nod, he left the cabin to and went to Jin.
"Rude," mumbled Eunwoo and started preparing for the antidote. There were two medicines, one was oral and the other had to go via an iv.

"I-I am gonna die," sobbed Jungkook in fear, his face buried in Jin's chest. Jin managed to carry him towards the bathroom so that the others wouldn't get disturbed.
Jungkook was crying miserably, he had given up. He thought he was really close to dying. No one had ever seen him crying so miserably.
Jin tried his best but Jungkook didn't seem to stop crying anytime soon.

It had been about 20 minutes, and Jungkook was still crying while hugging Jin and Taehyung and Namjoon rubbed his back soothingly.
Jin could feel Jungkook's temperature getting higher, the poor boy got fever due to the extreme amount of crying.

Understanding if he didn't stop Jungkook now, his health would just deteriorate further, Jin softly pulled out of the hug and wiped Jungkook's tears.

"Baby shh... Will you listen to hyung now?"
Jungkook nodded, still hiccupping.

"You aren't gonna die bubba. Hyung won't let that happen, we talked to doctor. He said we can cure it, he will give you an antidote right now and then observe you. After that he will again take your test, and hopefully the reports will be all normal then. Hyung won't let anything happen to you baby. Have faith in God." explained Jin with utter softness and pulled Jungkook in his embrace again.

Jungkook melted at the newly found comfort and hugged Jin tightly.

After a few minutes, they all got up and left to Eunwoo's cabin where he was all ready with the medicines.

Jungkook wasn't scared of such stuff to begin with, and laid down on the bed without any protest.
Eunwoo first tried founding the vein and once he got it, he gently inserted the iv needle.
He then injectes the injection into the salt bottle that was attached with the needle as the antidote slowly made it's way into his body.

Once the bottle was finished, Jungkook was fed the medicine and he left for home.

On the way Jin asked Namjoon if the doctor said for any precautions or side effects, but Namjoon shrugged him saying there were none and so they decided to cook Jungkook's favorite.

Jin could see how maturely Taehyung was behaving as the second youngest was succeeding in diverting Jungkook's mind.
They both played rock paper scissors and atlas throught the ride.
With Namjoon helping Jungkook in between making Taehyung sulk, but did he mind? Not at all! He was happy seeing his twin happy, though the feeling was also replaced by guilt realising how he tried to hurt his brother, his innocent little brother.

Jin had already texted the others about what happened at the doctor, and told everyone to not question Jungkook about anything related to that.

Once they were home, Jungkook was sent to his room along with Namjoon to take rest. While Yoongi helped Jin to make Jungkook's favorite food.

Jimin and Hosoek joined them too, and sat down on the floor listening to their hyung attentively.

Jin and Yoongi were discussing who could it be who was giving Jungkook poison. The only meal that Jungkook eats outside was lunch, from the canteen but isn't that what all the other students eat including Taehyung. They couldn't exactly pin point how and when Jungkook was given the poison.

Hoseok and Jimin also tried to think of something, but there were literally no clues.
Jin asked Jimin and Hosoek to get the cctv checked of the canteen, of all the days when Jungkook fainted.

Another few hours passed, Jimin and Hosoek were still at the school going through the CCTV looking for any clue.

On the other side, at the home Namjoon and Jungkook woke up and came downstairs.
By the time, Jin had finished arranging all the stuff on the dining table.

The aroma was really tempting but Jungkook was scared to death. He felt as if the poison was mixed in the food and if he eats the poisoned food one more time, he had die.

Jungkook started shaking and crying merely by the name of eating food. Namjoon was panicking more than Jungkook and Jin facepalmed himself.

He sidehugged Jungkook stilling his motion and sat down on the chair pulling him over his lap.
"Baby, hyung made this food. There is no harm in it. Nothing would happen to my baby." said Jin trying to make Jungkook understand that the food was harmless. But to no avail, Jungkook still cried saying the food was poisoned. He was so deep into crying that he didn't realise when he spoke out the harsh words for his hyung.

"I-I don't trust you, you must have poisoned my food hy-hyung... I will die if i eat this." Jin's heart clenched at the words, but he didn't let it come to his face, the others shared worried glances amongst eachother but they were helpless too and let Jin only decide things.

"Hmm, how about one thing. I eat this food first and prove that it isn't poisoned. Will that make my baby believe me, hm?" asked Jin with softness while bopping Jungkook's nose.

Jungkook gave a short nod, and kept his head on Jin's chest exhausted. Muttering a small sorry.

Jin smiled at the behaviour and first ate himself and then slowly slowly fed the rest of it to Jungkook who didn't appear that scared of eating anymore.

Everything was going fine, they all were settled on the sofa watching Jungkook's favorite movie until he puked blood.

"How could you be so careless Namjoon," and a loud voice of slap echoed through the empty hallway of the ICU

Welp I guess a lot of you missed my announcement saying that I won't update until about March or April as I could see a lot of you still saying for update.

So this is like a compensation for that, but yeah I won't be updating anytime soon before April.
I still might update once or twice if I have time, but else nope.
I am really sorry for that, but it would be nice if you don't ask for updates till then, i mean I love it when you ask for updates it makes us feel nice knowing you are engaged in the story but right now it just makes me feel guilty.
