After everyone left the room she asked him (Ming Diyu) "at least now can you explain me what had happened and why ?" she questioned
"sh its a long story where should i start from " he said
"from the start " she said
"ok look my father and ur mother are good friends so my father told me to do that shit to make your mother happy and to fulfil her wish " he said
"what wish ?" she asked
"to get you married " he said
"ok so why only you ?" she questioned again
"As if i know why i only know that much " he said
"what it doesn't make any sense"
"Yea it doesn't " he said
"So what to do " she asked
"just follow the flow" he said
"'just follow the flow'" she said sarcastically
After a few months
One day
[The scene unfolds in a softly lit hospital room, where Nan Xiawang sits by her mother's bedside, her expression a mix of concern and tenderness. Mr. Ming enters the room with a gentle smile, his demeanor both reassuring and solemn. Ming Diyu follows closely behind him, his expression reflecting a blend of apprehension and discomfort.]
Mr. Ming: [Approaching Nan Xiawang] Nan Xiawang, my dear, I hope we're not intruding.
[Nan Xiawang looks up, her eyes brightening at the sight of Mr. Ming and Ming Diyu. She shakes her head, a faint smile playing on her lips.]
Nan Xiawang: [Softly] Of course not, Mr. Ming. Please, come in.
[Mr. Ming and Ming Diyu take a seat beside Nan Xiawang, their presence offering both comfort and support.]
Mr. Ming: [Turning to Nan Xiawang with a gentle smile] Nan Xiawang, I believe you're familiar with my son, Ming Diyu.
[Nan Xiawang's gaze shifts to Ming Diyu, a spark of recognition flickering in her eyes. Ming Diyu offers her a small nod, his expression guarded yet polite.]
Nan Xiawang: [Nods in acknowledgment] Yes, of course. It's good to see you, Ming Diyu.
[Ming Diyu returns her nod with a tight-lipped smile, his eyes betraying a hint of discomfort.]
Ming Diyu: [Softly] You too, Nan Xiawang.
[Mr. Ming clears his throat, his expression turning serious as he addresses both Nan Xiawang and Ming Diyu.]
Mr. Ming: [Speaking with a blend of solemnity and compassion] I believe it's time we had a frank discussion about the circumstances that have brought us together today.
[Nan Xiawang and Ming Diyu exchange a wary glance, a silent acknowledgment passing between them.]
Nan Xiawang: [Nods in agreement] Yes, Mr. Ming, I believe you're right.
[Mr. Ming takes a deep breath, his gaze shifting between Nan Xiawang and Ming Diyu as he prepares to broach the delicate topic.]
Mr. Ming: [Continuing with measured words] Before your mother fell ill, she and I shared many heartfelt conversations about you—about your dreams, your aspirations, and the kind of life she hoped you would lead. And in those conversations, she expressed a fervent wish for your happiness, even in her absence.
[Nan Xiawang's heart clenches with emotion as she recalls her mother's wishes and the weight of her illness. Ming Diyu shifts uncomfortably in his seat, his eyes avoiding Nan Xiawang's gaze.]
Nan Xiawang: [Voice trembling] My mother... she's always wanted what's best for me.
[Ming Diyu's jaw tightens slightly, a silent acknowledgment of Nan Xiawang's words.]
Ming Diyu: [Softly] And we both want that for you, Nan Xiawang.
[Mr. Ming nods in agreement, his expression reflecting both empathy and determination.]
Mr. Ming: [Continuing with resolve] Indeed, we do. Which is why I believe it's time we address the charade that brought you two together in the first place.
[Nan Xiawang and Ming Diyu exchange a meaningful look, a silent understanding passing between them as they prepare to reveal the truth.]
Nan Xiawang: [Taking a deep breath] Mr. Ming, Ming Diyu and I... we weren't entirely truthful about our relationship.
[Mr. Ming listens attentively, his expression grave but open to understanding.]
Mr. Ming: [Nods slowly] I suspected as much. Please, go on.
[Nan Xiawang meets Ming Diyu's gaze, her eyes filled with apology and discomfort.]
Nan Xiawang: [Softly] Ming Diyu and I... we pretended to be a couple to fulfill my mother's wish for her to see me settled and happy.
[Ming Diyu shifts uneasily in his seat, his expression reflecting a mixture of guilt and resignation.]
Ming Diyu: [Quietly] It was never our intention to deceive you or anyone else. We only wanted to grant your mother some peace of mind during her illness.
[Mr. Ming absorbs their words, his gaze shifting between Nan Xiawang and Ming Diyu with a mixture of understanding and compassion.]
Mr. Ming: [After a moment of thoughtful silence] I know i am the person who told that
[Nan Xiawang and Ming Diyu exchange a grateful glance, their bond strengthened by the honesty and understanding that passes between them.]
Nan Xiawang: [Voice filled with emotion] Thank you, Mr. Ming.
Ming Diyu: [Echoing her sentiment] Yes, thank you.
[Mr. Ming offers them a reassuring smile, his gaze filled with warmth and acceptance.]
Mr. Ming: [Softly] You're both welcome. Now, let us focus on honoring your mother's wishes together, as a united front.
[Nan Xiawang and Ming Diyu nod in agreement, a sense of solidarity and purpose settling over them as they prepare to face the challenges ahead, guided by the love and legacy of a mother's last wish.]
