Ishqi emerged from the closet, a vision in sapphire blue. The dress flowed gracefully over her curves, stopping just above her ankles. Her hair, styled in loose waves, cascaded down her back, adorned with a single white orchid tucked behind her ear. A touch of makeup accentuated her natural beauty, her eyes sparkling with a mixture of excitement and lingering pain.
Ahaan, who had been leaning against the window, turned to face her. The moment his eyes met hers, the air around them seemed to crackle with unspoken desire. He stood frozen for a moment, lost in the beauty before him. A slow smile spread across his face, his heart skipping a beat.
A: haye.. looking gorgeous sweetheart.. he complemented her..
Ishqi, unable to contain her blush, reached up and self-consciously fiddled with the orchid in her hair.
I: aap boht zyada bolte hai.. AVM she teased, a playful smile gracing her lips despite the nerves fluttering in her stomach.
Ahaan chuckled, the sound warming the room.
A: sirf sach bol raha hu.. he countered, taking a step closer. He reached out, his hand gently brushing a stray strand of hair from her cheek. "You're even more beautiful than the mountains."
Ishqi couldn't help but laugh
I: lekin hum toh mountain pe nahi jaa rahe hai.. she reminded him playfully.
A: ha.. par hum aise jagah jaa rahe hai jo sirf hum dono ke liye hai..
He extended his arm towards her, a silent invitation. Ishqi, her heart pounding with anticipation, took his hand. Their destination turned out to be a secluded rooftop restaurant nestled amidst the bustling city. String lights twinkled overhead, casting a warm glow over the tables decorated with fresh white tablecloths and flickering candles. Gentle music filled the air, creating an intimate and romantic atmosphere.
A waiter led them to a quiet corner table, offering a breathtaking view of the city skyline bathed in the golden hues of dusk. As they settled in, Ahaan couldn't help but steal glances at Ishqi, his gaze lingering on her flushed cheeks and sparkling eyes.
I: wow.. AVM.. ye.. ye jagah toh boht khubsurat hai.. Ishqi remarked, her voice filled with awe as she took in the breathtaking panorama.
Ahaan smiled, his eyes twinkling..
A: I'm glad you like it (he replied) actually, ye table thoda zyaada special hai.. It took some convincing.. par reserve kar liya maine..
I: aisa bhi kya special hai..? Ishqi inquired..
Ahaan leaned closer, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper..
A: sunna tha ki yahi wo spot hai.. jaha countless proposals hue hai.. he revealed, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
Ishqi's cheeks flushed a deeper crimson.
I: aap toh.. she began, playfully hitting his arm.
Ahaan chuckled, his laughter echoing through the quiet corner. Before she could respond, he took one of her hands in his, his touch sending shivers down her spine. He gently kissed the back of her knuckles, his lips lingering for a moment longer than necessary. Then, he looked up at her, his eyes filled with love and desire.
A: but aaj.. (he continued, his voice husky) baat proposals ki nahi hai.. It's about celebrating what we already have..
He leaned in further, his lips brushing against hers in a tender kiss. The kiss was brief, a mere peck, but it sent a jolt of electricity through them both. Ishqi felt her heart skip a beat, her cheeks burning with a blush..
