Nestled in each others embrace there was a sense of calmness between the couple.. Ishqi gently broke the comfortable silence. "Sonu ne kya kaha...?" she asked, her voice filled with concern.
Ahaan sighed, his expression thoughtful. He proceeded to explain the conversation he had with Sonu, detailing her feelings, her relationship with the boy, and her fears.
"kal use milne bulaya hai maine.. jaan na chahta hu ki wo ladka humaari Sonu ke liye sahi hai bhi ki nahi.. after all it's about her whole life.." He added sharing his own thoughts and concerns about the situation, expressing his desire to protect his sister and ensure her happiness.
When he finished, Ishqi nodded, her eyes filled with understanding. She appreciated his honesty and his genuine concern for Sonu's well-being. She also recognized the complexity of the situation and the challenges that lay ahead.
"Chinta mat kijiye... sab sahi hoga.." she whispered, caressing his cheek. Her words were filled with hope and reassurance, a testament to her unwavering belief in their ability to overcome any obstacle.
Ahaan smiled slightly, a flicker of hope lighting up his eyes. Her words resonated with him, providing a much-needed boost of confidence. He knew that with Ishqi by his side, he could face anything.
"Hmm... as long as you are with me... sab sahi hoga..." He replied, his voice filled with love and gratitude.
Ishqi squeezed his hand, her eyes filled with love and reassurance. She knew that together; they could face any challenge. And she was determined to be by his side, supporting him through every step of the way.
As they sat there, holding each other, they felt a sense of peace and tranquillity. They knew that the road ahead would be difficult, but they were confident that they would emerge stronger and more united than ever before.
The next day, as the sun filtered through the office windows, Rohan entered Malhotra Constructions, his footsteps confident and purposeful. He made his way directly to Ahaan's cabin, his casual demeanour betraying a hint of arrogance.
Ahaan, sitting behind his desk, watched Rohan approach with a mixture of curiosity and disapproval. The young man's attitude, his nonchalant disregard for the office protocol, was jarring.
Rohan settled into the chair opposite Ahaan, his posture relaxed and unapologetic. He didn't even bother to greet Ahaan, his eyes scanning the office with a bored expression.
Ahaan was taken aback by his audacity. This was not the behaviour he expected from someone who claimed to be dating his sister. He cleared his throat, his voice laced with a hint of disapproval.
"So, Rohan, it's nice to finally meet you," he began, his tone polite but firm.
Rohan glanced at him, his expression unreadable. "Yeah, same here," he mumbled, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
Ahaan's eyebrows furrowed. This was not the response he had anticipated. "I know you're dating Sonu," he continued, his voice steady. "I hope you realize the seriousness of the situation."
Rohan shrugged, his attitude unchanged. "ha toh..?" he muttered. "We love each other.. ismein problem kya hai .? I don't know why make it a big deal."
Ahaan leaned forward, his tone becoming more serious. "It is a big deal, Rohan. Sonu behen hai meri.. and I care about her. I want to make sure ki jo bhi ladka uski zindagi mein aaye.. wo uske liye sahi ho.."
Rohan scoffed. "Oh, so u think I'm not good enough..? apna khud ka ghar hai.. I earn enough.. apna khud ka business hai.. aur kya chahiye..?"
Ahaan's patience was wearing thin. "Sonu ke dreams.. uske aspirations.. uske feelings ka kya..? Kabhi socha hai..?
