The rays of the sun streamed towards the blue sphere, eliminating the reign of dusk. The great ball of fire shone like gold, adorning the beauty of the ether. It seemed as it were extending it's thousand arms to embrace everything that would cross it's path.
The earth gleamed as the sun rays sanctified it; every part, every corner, every fragment took up the gradient of gold. But the realm which seemed the most brilliant was Bharatvarsha, the land of saffron, which illustrated the dauntless heroes the nation bore.
Though the land was divided by various provinces of various cultures, but it was united by ethnos and dexterity. Peace was, as if, blended in the soil and sustained by the people. Prosperity dwelt in each abode and 'misery' made no sense. It was the heaven on earth!
The guardians of that glorious land were the waters, that protected it from the foreign invasions. From the tranquility of Varuna rose the magnificent city of Dwaraka that was the home of the Yadavas whose Mathura was destroyed by the King of Magadha.
Dwaraka was no ordinary city. It was crafted by the architect of the gods, Lord Vishwakarma and protected by Lord Hari. Every street, every home, every part of Mokshapuri was decked with beauty. The ornament that adorned the people of Dwaraka was Dharma, that added to the opulence of Dwaraka.
It was the abode of Narayana as Ayodhya was in Treta Yuga and was one of Saptapuri, the seven sacred cities of Bharata. Prakriti resided in Dwaraka as Mother Lakshmi embellished it's grandeur in the form of Ashtabharya.
It was full of mystics as the home of Yogamaya. There was no Kingdom as powerful as Dwaravati as Ananta Shesha himself led the army to triumph in every war ever fought, making it an unconquerable city. Prosperity presided over the city as the realm of Jyotishmati. The worth of Prudence and Knowledge was held high as it was where Kashyapa, the renowned sage radiated Wisdom along with his consorts.
Deities themselves had descended as the Yadavas, the valorous warriors of the most flourishing city that ever existed in Bharatavarsha's history.
They were ruled by Krishna, their blue god. It would take infinite words to describe the Lord of Dwaraka yet in brief, he was omniscient. He knew everything. Why? He was Narayana himself but none knew about it, except a few.
He excelled at all qualities that man could every possess but the most prominent amongst them, that helped him in day-to-day life was Multitasking. Everyone in the royal family admired that one quality the most. He could wind up all the royal documents, listen to Balarama's tips (even complaints at times) and handle all his eccentric kids, all at ones.
Today was no different.
Charumati was trying to read for the first time, pronouncing every word loudly and Samba was wailing on top of his voice. And as a bonus, Balarama walked in with an over-enthusiastic Ulmuka in his arms.
"Uhhhh."
"You look displeased," Balarama raised his eyebrows, putting down Ulmuka besides Krishna, who slapped his face. Ulmuka immediately reached for the royal stamp, which Krishna pulled away too quickly.
