Diana's POV:

Me and the nurse stared at each other for a few moments, she seemed afraid, why was she afraid? I wasn't a violent patient, was it because I was an outsider?

“Uh…excuse me but, who's the head nurse here?...Can someone explain what's going on? My chart looks ridiculous. I don't…understand what's going” I asked her as calmly as possible. She looked like she would faint if I spoke too loud.

“Uh…someone will be here to explain to you soon, please, you must sit” the nurse said, now avoiding eye contact.

I looked at her confused, even more so when she pushed me back with the tray and squeezed past me, what on earth was going on here.

“Please…please sit, Liliana will be here soon with her husband, uh…g-good day” she ran out before I could say or ask anything else of her.

I didn't know what was going on but it made me feel uneasy, I had a gut feeling something was very very wrong.

I watched her leave before trying the door.

It was locked.

Ok now I was starting to freak out.

My heart was racing and I could feel myself panicking more.

She mentioned Lily was coming, I needed answers and there was no one I trusted more than her to tell me the truth, surely she had to know what was going on.

I couldn't sit still pacing around the room trying to figure out as much as I could, there were some wolf statues, carvings of the moon, a very traditional old timey feeling to this place, but still oddly modern.

I also found these little carved wooden tablets with symbols and sigils painted on them, I honestly had no idea what these were for.

By the time Lily showed up finally she ran over and hugged me tightly, she was definitely worried about me.

“Dede!! I'm so sorry I should have come with you last night! I didn't think it was dangerous, we haven't had incidents in a while, I thought you'd be safe!” She kept apologising and rambling over and over.

“Lilly, breath please, I don't care about that right now, what I'm worried about is how this place is crazy…i- I saw things last night Lily, I'm not sure if it's because of a concussion or not but…somethings not right about this place” I explained pulling her back to grab her shoulders.

She looked at me confused at first “what did you see?”

“People…turning into abnormally large wolves, they were crazy Lily, they tried to eat me…i don't know what's going on here, but that's not possible…I think they are playing mind games on us Lily i-....oh my god” I paused for a moment.

“Lily this place is a cult, these people are crazy…w-we need to call the police or or someone, this place isn't right” I said pacing more, I paced when stressed out.

“Diana…I need you to breathe ok? I'm going to tell you everything but you need to calm down ok” Lily tried to calm me down.

They must have already gotten to her, my best friend may be silly but she wasn't delusional!

“No Lily don't tell me you believe this…I need to call the hospital, get a psychiatrist or a therapist or something to come help you…you've been here far too long they've messed with your head” I said while frantically looking for my phone.

“We Need the police, this is like some off the grid cult...I knew I had a bad feeling about this place” I kept rummaging until I found my phone.

But I didn’t even get to type my password or use Face ID when my phone suddenly flew out of my hands like it was alive. I certainly didn’t throw it and I didn’t see Lilly's hand move to grab it, all she had done was lift her hand.
