Walking down the street,
We were strangers, you and me.
There is no way that our destinies,
Cross each other in any day - dreams. But I felt a spark within your touch,
As our hands just brushed,
You were looking down in your book,
And I was looking up the clouds. It was a grey day as they predicted,
The crosswalk was a chess board filled with people,
Trying to reach on either side of the road,
As the traffic lights calmly changed the colors. And we were walking in opposite directions,
When our hands brushed each other, I noticed,
There was a reason to look around,
Instead of looking up hopelessly.I not only looked around with a searching gaze,
But turned around to look for you,
In that crowd of grey, I was blue,
And that's when I found you.Focused deeply on the book you were reading,
Walking into some cafe looking so poetic,
In that crowd of grey, I'm glad I found you.
In that crowd of grey, you looked blue too.
