Chapter 3: Hunter vs. Matthew Patel

You and Matthew charged at each other and your fists hit each other, causing a blast that knocked back some of the audience.

Matthew: "So, Hunter, you're as good as they say."

"Tell me who the hell you are."

Matthew: "Matthew Patel, Ramona's first evil ex-boyfriend."

You gave an incredulous look and pointed at Ramona to confirm if she's what Matthew's talking about.

Ramona: "Uh..."

Scott: "How the hell do you date an evil dude?"

"You wouldn't happen to be related to the letter my sister gave to me, would you?"

Matthew: "Yes, I was."

"So you're serious about the whole Ramona having seven evil exes, who I must beat in order to date her."

Matthew: "Yep. word for word."

"I'm... just going to get back to fighting."

Matthew: "Excellent choice."

The two of you charged at each other again and you dodged Matthew's fire attacks to land your psychic-enhanced punches.

Scott: "You seriously dated this guy?"

Ramona: "Yeah. In middle school. It was football season, and for some reason, all the little jocks wanted me."

Matthew landed a punch to your face, but your punch sent him into the railing of the second floor.

Ramona: "Matthew Patel was the only non-white, non-jock boy in school, maybe the only one for miles around."

Matthew summoned spectral cheerleaders to aid himself against you. He charged and you used your skills to dodge their attacks and defeat the cheerleaders one by one.
