Appearance: Auburn coloured hair that reaches just below her shoulders; green/hazel eyes; beautiful, breath taking smile; very skinny, though she hides this fact well with her much larger clothes. Five foot, three inches.
Personality: quiet; kind; caring; loyal; funny; laughing; sweetheart to pretty much everyone; never naive, although some people think so. Submissive, but defiant; brave; protective; intelligent.
Background: Ramie was born in District Eight. Her parents, Olefin and Angora, worked hard in the textile mills since they were old enough to be put in the Reaping Bowl. They met when they were thirteen, and fell in love at first sight. Other than Ramie, they had two other children, an older boy named Raffia, and a girl named Ticella. All of the children were named after various textile fabrics or techniques. Ramie's parents had wanted her to attend as much school as she could, to at least get a better paying job than just the textile mills. They were disappointed when, at sixteen years old, Ramie dropped out of school to help feed the family

Other: she was voted into the Games because of her vast knowledge of basic and advanced survival skills. Since their district is so poor, there are few real fighters. The odds seemed in favour of someone who could survive, rather than fight. People were merely trying to get a Victor this year.
