This feels livable.
Especially with him by my side.
I lie on the bed, looking up to the ceiling fan slowly circling, causing a slight breeze of wind to cast over my bare arms.
Five months of me being here, three months of me living here with Ryle.
My parents still didn't catch up to me. The conditions in Florida didn't worsen, but I found my home here.
Life feels like it's starting again. It finally feels like it's going onward.
I glance over to Ryle sitting on the mattress, writing something down on his note block.
Working remotely from home, he is occasionally called to work back in his original workplace. Things are working out.
If fate knew we'd end up together...
Lost in thought, he interlocks his free hand with mine. I slowly place it on my stomach, hoping he'd catch the hint, smiling to myself.
We'd not be alone for long.
And the sheepish yet hopeful smile he shoots me when his eyes lock with mine, when he realizes, I know my world is complete.
Everything worked out.
Everything worked out in the end.
Somehow.
Picture-perfect.
