Breanna, Matt and I all arrived at Miles' birthday party at together. It had been fun staying at their place; Yesterday we had a movie night in the living room, and the day before that we spent outside by the pool. I really liked them, they were walking angel's.

I had decided on wearing black boots, fishnets, a small black loose fitting dress, and a cheetah print coat. I hadn't really done much with my hair other than curling my bangs a little so they looked good and not messy. My makeup consisted of a smokey eye, some eyeliner, mascara, a little bit of concealer cause of my eye bags, and some clear lip gloss. I'd say I looked good, if not amazing. I loved getting ready, especially cause I ended up looking amazing most of the time. This outfit wasn't something I'd normally wear, far off actually, but I really liked it. Something about it just showed my personality perfectly. And it was comfortable, my outfits normally are uncomfortable and I'm normally in the mindset of 'it's not a good outfit if it's not uncomfortable'.

The first thing I noticed when I walked into miles' house was not all the art on the walls, not the massive wall of records, not even the size of the house, but how many people were there. It felt like there was millions if not trillions of people, even though it was probably like 100 maybe less. Normally I wasn't the person to feel self conscious or unconfident, but this many people certainly did it for me. I tried to hide it my best, but it felt like they could see right through me. It didn't help that everyone here was so attractive, both the celebrities and the 'normal' people were ethereal. I felt like a fish out of water.

"Arabella" I snapped out of my thoughts and looked to my right to see Nick and Kelly. With a smile, and a bunch of fake confidence, I walked through all the attractive people over to them. Kelly had curled her hair, and had a red dress on, honestly she was the prettiest person in the room. Nick looked like he always did, boring.

"Have you guys seen Miles? I wanna say happy birthday to him" I asked loudly enough for them to hear me over the music. I had never met Miles, but it was still nice to say happy birthday to him.

"I think he's outside by the pool" Kelly responded. Nick was in his own little world looking over at an art piece. I gave Kelly a hug and went through the crowd so I could get outside. There were also quite a few people outside but not nearly as many as inside.

It was quite easy to find Miles in the crowd cause he was wearing a pink shirt, a denim jacket and some jeans. I made my way over to him and he turned to look at me with a smile.

"Happy birthday" I said and he pulled me into a hug. I was really surprised at this as he had never met me before, but he was probably drunk.

"Oi, Kane, got a bird?" I heard a too familiar voice ask. Miles released me from his hug and I turned around to see Alex. He was wearing skinny jeans, a white shirt, and a leather jacket. His hair was slicked back into his normal quiff, and he looked absolutely amazing. I hated the fact that I was supposed to not like him but found him so fucking attractive. He dropped his jaw once he saw me, and the two bottle bears in his hands almost dropped. He probably hadn't expected me to come to the party, and especially not in this outfit. He slowly moved over to us but didn't really say anything.

"Nah, isn't this your girl, mate?" Miles asked Alex who just looked at me. I rolled my eyes a little at the obvious tension between me and Alex that Miles didn't pick up on.

"No, it's Nick's sister" Alex responded but his eyes never left me. Miles let out a long 'oh' in realization, and smiled at us both.

"Uhm, happy birthday, again. I'll go inside and see if I know anybody" I say to try and leave this conversation as respectfully as possible.
