Sam turns the Wii back on.

"Hey... Eteled?"

"What is it?" Eteled asked.

"Why did you get so mad? Like, I get you don't like being deleted, but why did you react that way?" Sam asked.

"Because that's the only way I can react." Eteled answered. "I previously lived a real life, but I had a bad childhood. It was violent. That's all I can say." Eteled paused. "I was... different."

Sam tried to comfort Eteled. "Im sorry about what happened to you. I hope you're feeling okay now."

"I feel okay mentally, but not physically." Eteled  said cryptically. You're assuming it means because he's a Mii instead of a person, which is an interesting experience. Maybe it has to do with deletion, since you don't think you can experience deletion.

Sam stared for a few seconds before Eteled continued. "Growing up as a person, I was punished for not being normal. My father was mean. My mother was nice, but she was always sad."

You're honestly a bit bored of listening to Eteled trauma dumping to a teenager who bought a Wii from a thrift store, but since you care about Eteled, you listen anyway.

"I'm sorry about your past life, Eteled."

"It... wasn't a past life." Eteled explained. "I'm still who I was before."

Sam looked very surprised at this information. You're not sure how she understands what's going on. How would a Mii be a person? How would a person turn into a Mii? The only reason you understand is because you're dead too.

"I worked for Nintendo." Eteled explained further. "I died, but lived on in this Wii, in the body of a Mii I created."

Sam looked shocked and confused. Reasonably so. She then exited the Mii channel.

"Eteled, if you keep explaining your life, you're going to traumatize her." You say.

"I'm not going to tell her about you." He claims. "I would never. Plus, I won't tell her any more details about the creation of the Eteled Mii."

"Okay." You say. "Just be careful. If you say anything you shouldn't, just remember I can destroy the Wii using the electric chair. I can electrocute you and melt the Wii simultaneously."

"What the f—never mind." Eteled looks at you. "I send Sam a letter on the Wii message board. It's basically just telling her I trust her and that she shouldn't let anyone delete me again."

"Haven't you already said that a thousand times?" You ask.

"Just shut up." Eteled says.

"Only if you kiss me directly on the lips right this moment." You say.

"Oh my gosh, do I need to start calling you simp again—" Eteled gets cut off when you pull him closer to you. "Fine, whatever, as long as you'll shut your trap."

The Wii turned back on a few minutes later, and Sam selected Wii sports, then tennis, then Eteled.

Sam was surprised by how powerful Eteled was. She could tell he was stronger than any normal Mii. She didn't put much effort into her swings, because she knew Eteled would do it anyway. The whole game worked normally, but Eteled's serves were just stronger.

Sam also played baseball, and when Eteled hit the ball, it went flying into the pitcher's face. It registered as if the pitcher had caught it, but Eteled didn't rotate out. Instead, he hit it out of the park. Eteled got home run after home run, and you could tell Sam wasn't really having much fun anymore.

Instead of quitting Wii sports, however, she went to bowling, still choosing Eteled as her Mii. She got strikes on the first 6 throws. On the 7th throw, however, Eteled didn't roll the ball. You looked at the lane beside him, and immediately knew why he hesitated. A Mii that was oddly reminiscent of Kyle's was bowling right next to him. Eteled looked at the Mii.

I heard Eteled, under his breath. "Kyle..."

Eteled then raised the ball above his head, knocking out Kyle's Mii, and getting a strike.

All of the Miis in the alley gasped. You held up the camera, pointing it at the pins so Sam didn't have to see that again. This is the second time Kyle's Mii got attacked in the same way you had earlier.

Eteled stared at the other Miis in the alley, and they stared at him. Eteled secretly signaled for you to bring the camera after him, and then he ran out of the bowling alley into the void. Eteled formed a brick path for you to follow him on, and then eventually sat down at the end of it.

You start to shake a bit, since the camera is fighting to go back to the alley. Eteled notices, and quickly makes an excuse.

"Sam, if the camera is jittering, it's because of the game's programming." Eteled explained. "The camera isn't supposed to be here. The game is trying to take it back to the bowling alley."

"And you're not letting it?" Sam asked.

Well, it is you and not him, but Eteled can't tell Sam you're here.

"Yes." Eteled answered.

"What happened back there?" Sam asked.

"Remember how I told you about Kyle? That was his Mii." Eteled explained. "I don't know how he came back. I deleted him 10 years ago."

"Doesn't deleting a Mii cause them pain? Why are you causing other Miis pain?" Sam yelled. "If you don't want pain, don't cause others pain!"

"I deleted him because he deleted me!" Eteled barked back. "I was never good at resolving situations in a lighthearted manner! He caused ME pain, so I caused HIM pain!" Eteled paused, then quietly apologized. "I'm sorry."

"Well, where do Miis even go when they get deleted?" Sam asked calmly.

"Do you really want to know?" Eteled asked, knowing what it meant for him. He knew what pain was there for him.

"Yes." Sam answered.

"Okay, but you'll need to delete me." Eteled explained. "Then, go to the Wii message board, open the envelope, and watch the video."

Sam then deleted Eteled.

You followed him into the hospital room.

"You care too much about Sam." You say to Eteled as he struggles to stand up, writhing in pain from being deleted. "You care more about Sam than me." You yank the life support cords off of Eteled, and drag him to the electric chair room. "I'm not going to connect it to the real electricity, but if you keep this up, I'm going to kill us both by melting this console."

Eteled tried to yell at you. He tried to scold you, tell you how messed up what you were doing was. He couldn't. He was too weak.

Looking back, you realize it was a major lapse of your judgement, but since then, Eteled's been much more open with you.

Suspiciously so.
