Chapter 1: Prologue

[Torres Household: Earth, 2366]

"Good luck with your posting, Tom." B'Elanna said, she and Tom weren't dating, not anymore.

"So long, Lanna." Tom replied.

It was no-one's fault that they broke up, hell even Miral loved Tom.

B'Elanna chuckled at the memory, B'Elanna and Tom had just started dating and Miral commented on how Tom is a worthy mate for her daughter.

Tom's reaction was hilarious to B'Elanna.

[USS Cheyenne: Engineering, 2367]

B'Elanna was twenty one years old, a year after she graduated and was placed on the Cheyenne, under the command of Captain Dennings, but she worked in Engineering as Lt. j.g. When things went wrong on the USS Cheyenne and B'Elanna was forced to choose between life and death, she chose life.

But it also meant a few broken bones in Ashlyn Madden's nose, she was the Chief Engineer at the time, luckily Madden decided not to press charges, but Starfleet decided to take advantage of the drama

Quick Authors Note:

I'm also going to imagine B'Elanna's forehead ridges are more pronounced than what they are in the actual show, feel free to imagine it too or just imagine her foreheads ridges are the same.

I hated how unpronounced her forehead ridges were, I mean if you looked at her head from the side you'd never be able to tell that she was half Klingon, and then you have K'Ehleyr who was also half Klingon and yet her forehead ridges were more pronounced, so as I've stated I'm going to imagine B'Elanna's forehead is the same as K'Ehleyr's and that Tom and B'Elanna's daughters forehead ridges are the same amount of pronunciation as B'Elanna's forehead ridges are in Voyager. 

Anyway, rant over, I really hoped it made sense.

Sorry about how short the prologue chapter is, also I'll basically be doing rewrites of the whole series, I've done a story like this before but I deleted it, it was also B'Elanna x Tom.
