Dhruv and Tara ran through the woods as Pratap followed. Pratap never thought that His Ranisa will take all blame of attacking him from Dhruv to herself. Pratap managed to catch them and roared, "Chod dijiye hamari Ranisa ko...", to which Tara frowned and replied, "Ranisa?! Kiski Ranisa?? Apki kabhi shadi bhi hui thi jo koi apki Ranisa ho??"
Dhruv hold Tara's hand tightly, "Behes bekar hai Tara... chalo..". Tara proceeded with Dhruv when Pratap grabbed Tara's other hand, "Hum apni prem jitne ke liye kuch bhi kar sakte Ranisa...". Dhruv got angered by Pratap's this behaviour and shouted, "Prem jitna nehi bolte ise... ise prem chinna bolte hai..." Dhruv kicked Pratap's stomach, "Koi MERI TARA ke sath jabardasti kare yeh mujhe srikar nehi...." Dhruv attacked Pratap and both continued to fight. Tara tried to stop both. As Tara hold Dhruv to stop him Pratap pushed her, which made her loose her balance and she slipped off the cliff. Both men got shocked and ran down the cliff but couldn't find her. Search continued for the next few days. Saurya went traumatised by his mother's absence and now it was only Dhruv who succeeded in making him sleep and feed. Pratap tried many times to manage Saurya, but failed.
A few days later, a soldier came with blood ridden cloth of Tara and informed that she has been taken away by a lion, which confirmed her death. Pratap tried to make Saurya believe in the "truth" which started making him more traumatised and soon the kid started going into depression making him go numb. Dhruv tried his best to treat him. Pratap very well understood that only Dhruv can treat Saurya, so kept him as his Royal Advisor, because a numb kid is of no use of him or his kingdom.
The adversities started showing off true colours of Pratap. Saurya was in no state of analysing the change as he was so immersed in the thoughts of his mother. Dhruv noticed the changes, rather, the true picture. Pratap posed Tara as his wife and Saurya as his son just to give a "heir" to the kingdom. He used Tara's soft mind to convince her. Tara always knew Dhruv was alive, then why the hell Pratap considered Tara as a widow?! Does widows ever wear mangalsutra??
Saurya sometimes went to his "babasa" to get some cuddles but his indifferent nature made him uncomfortable and thus more sad. He found his comfort around Dhruv. Seeing Saurya's comfort Bhabosa too agreed to keep Saurya with Dhruv. She thought that maybe Pratap is too saddened by Antara's demise. Little did she knew that some other cold war is going on.
Dhruv didn't believe in the news of demise of Tara and continued his search to find her. Pratap just endured his madness for Saurya, and offered every help in his endeavours so that he doesn't revolt and keep calm.
Menwhile, an unseen revolutionary named Kapali was posing a major threat on Devgarh. His base in Veerpur, a newly built village, located near Surajgarh, the new Vallabhgarh under Devgarh. Pratap's and Maan's plans always failed to catch him. No one ever saw his face, so it became more difficult.
In this whirl Dhruv was going here and there to find Tara and landing in problems which made Pratap more irritated, he have to save his life and also have to keep him calm. What a problem!!Soon Dhruv's search reached Veerpur, which made Pratap more anxious. He didn't allow him to go there, so Dhruv made a lame excuse and went there to find Tara. There, in a festival, he saw Tara and ran behind her. After some days he met Tara but she couldn't recognise him and identified herself as Bijli. Bijli had a money lusty father, named Jagtap, and a brother, named Mahaveer. Dhruv was confused but was sure that she is his Tara.
