Chapter 7

why is he starting at me! what, is there something on my face, no there's nothing, i don't seem to feel it. What the heck! Let's just ask the person invloved.

"is there something on my face, Mr. Addams?" Rachel asked with a raised eyebrow.

"you offered yourself to me and you don't even know how to call me" countered Danniel as he laid back on the chair putting his one leg on the another but this only made Rachel more irritated by each passing second.

"please mind you words, who offered you" she retorted.

Offered, what goes in his mind literally, it would be considered proposal and he termed it as. His minds does functions opposite to normal people. 

Rachel's thoughts were clearly replicating on her face that ran in her mind, wild and free and that did not go unnoticed by the man whose brain functions differently according to Rachel.

What's always going on in her head, he thought as he looked straight on her face

"whatever I don't care, but since you promised to marry me you better keep it, do not go running after other men"

running after another man just do you know how loyal of a person I am.

"your tongue is quite sharp, it could even cut a diamond" said Rachel as she saw his irritated face, even for a minute second, she was satisfied.

"well you need it in business, Rachel"

Rachel! did...did he really call me by my first name, omg, why did my name never sounded this beautiful to me before, urgh! what the heck what am i thinking.

"Rachel"

"uh"

"I see you are not comfortable with me calling you like that"

"no..no"

"its ok I don't care, I would still call you as I like"

huh, just literally why did you ask then.

"see you tomorrow, Rachel I am waiting for the announcement of your break up, after that i'd be there with you, right next to you"

"you not comfortable...its ok i don't care....huh!!! what a rude man" said rachel as she micked Daniel behind his back.

"find out what is Rachel up to recently"

"ma'am, it's done, they are ready for the contract signing with us, he loved our proposal that day"

"I knew it!"

Rachel was now in her office in Starry&Co., she had been working on this proposal for a whole night since after she met Daniel and it finally paid off but, this but where does this come from.

"say it I am ready to  hear it, ah my heart you can bear it, come on" said Rachel as she placed a hand on her heart.

"well...he said...he said that he would only sign in the presence of Mr. Hannes, he said...that he had been dealing previously with Mr. Hannes only soo"

"WHAT!!!!!!!!!!, this old man" hissed Rachel.

just when she thought  she could accelerate the plan to take out Hannes family out of their buissnes, this old man dropped a bomb and now she will have to please the enemy who she curlty rejected and humilated.

"what to do ma'am"

"i will find a way, you go on to your work" said Rachel as she sat down

"yes"
