I have been away for almost a month now, forgive me everyone..........

"I am sorry............forgive me", Rachel spoke as she looked at Daniel's back, who was sitting down on a chair beside her looking up the sky with a lazy smile.

The sky was clouded and dark grey, the soothing  cold wind was blowing sending a cool sensation through their body.

Daniel head her apology and his smile stopped to only smile even wider but Rachel wasn't aware of it as she was sitting a little behind him to see his face clearly. As she looked expectedly, drops of water fell on her face, "ah.........it's raining"

Daniel also felt it as he grabbed her hand and pulled her with him, "let's go"

his face was tense as he raced against the time so as to not let her get soaked.

he had planned to make her enjoy and relax today and he had arranged everything for meticulously to give her a surprise but ended up getting himself a surprise, it was not only him but also her, she was also reborn. This time he had thought to not get close to her and protect her from distance but who knew one day she will come running to him and tell him she liked him. 

Oh how his inner self smiled after hearing her words. Although he had doubted it at that time but later after seeing a series of her her action against Hannes one thing was clear. She was reborn too. He had then figured out that Hannes and Sira had also done something to her. From then on he had sworn to completely destroy them but will not let Rachel know that he was back. But who knew she would ask something like that today.

The duo ran holding each other's hand as the rain got heavier by each passing second. It was pouring down heavily almost drenching them making their vision blurry

"go.." said Daniel as he opened the door for Rachel and got her in. He then ran towards the driver's side and got in too.

the thundering was loud, and the sky shone with with it.

"huh! I did not expect it to rain so hard, lets find a shelter," spoke Daniel.

"yes, be careful driving, I saw a hotel while coming here, its just a few meters lets go there alright", suggested Rachel.

"hmm" replied Daniel as he started driving, the rain was pouring down and the sound of it was loud, the water drops where hitting hard on the car, letting then hear no sound that that of itself.

"its raining so hard be careful"

"yes, don't worry"

"here we are let's go", informed Daniel as he got out of the car and went to Rachel.

Daniel took off his coat as shielded her with it as they ran towards the hotel.

As they ran Rachel's eyes were fixed on the man by her side as the thought ran in her mind continuously, why did she not notice, he was so attentive to her, always.

"here we are, huh what are you wondering"
"nothing" replied Rachel and smiled.

"ah are you are crying,  there are tears" said Daniel as he cupped her face with his hand and cleared her face with his both thumbs.

"what are you saying we were in rain, who is crying!?", replied Rachel.

"I will check for the rooms, sit here"

"hmm"

"he has been talking so long, what happened.......ah let's just check it out"

"what happened?" asked Rachel as she came as stood by Daniel and looked at him and the receptionist.

"ma'am there been a thunderstorm and so many people are checking in, we are out of rooms"

"sine there is no rooms, we can rest in the lounge", suggested Rachel.

"no no ma'am its's not like that we do have, I mean there is a rooms but only once but this gentleman requests for two"

"why two, Daniel?" ,asked Rachel as she looked puzzlingly at Daniel and then turned towards the receptionist, "one room is ok, thanks"

seeing Daniel still hesitant Rachel spoke again, "go now, we are so drenched to you want to get sick", said Rachel as she ushered Daniel with her.

"this room is beautiful"

"yeah, now go take a shower or you will get sick" spoke Daniel as he tucked her hair back.

"hmm"

Rachel's mind raced as she soaked in the bath. What was Daniel thinking? Had he not been angry with her? Why were they here, in this room, together?

When she emerged from the shower, Daniel stood by the window, hands in his pockets, coat draped over a chair. Rachel's eyes brightened, and she hugged him from behind.

"Forgive me, please," she whispered.

Daniel was taken aback by her sudden embrace but relaxed when he heard her plea. He held her hand, encircling her.

"When was I ever angry with you?" he asked gently.

"Do you not hate me?" Rachel's voice trembled. "I... I was so cold to you. Even after everything you did, you wanted to protect me, but I never... never believed you."

"Silly," Daniel replied. "I don't hate you." He continued, his eyes searching hers. "Isn't it commendable that you remained committed to that one man, even when such a handsome man lived under the same roof?"

Rachel playfully hit his chest. "You really have a way with words. It wasn't commitment; I was blind! And I... I'm truly sorry."

"Enough," Daniel said, stroking her head. "I'm just glad we've returned to a time when nothing was irreparably damaged. You gave me a chance."

"But how did we come back?" Rachel stepped away from Daniel's embrace. The question hung in the air, demanding an answer.

Daniel smirked, pulling something from his pocket. "Remember this?"

Rachel's eyes widened. "Our wedding ring," she said, tears already blurring her vision. "But what does it have to do with—"

Daniel hugged her tightly. "Thank you for not taking it off."

Rachel smiled, but her joy was tinged with memories of injustice. Daniel had died protecting her.

"If you hadn't wanted to protect me," she whispered, "you'd still be alive. It was them, wasn't it? They killed you. I was blind, but this time, I won't let them hurt you. Just wait, both of you..."
