The clouds parted finally, letting the sun finally peak through and shine its warm comforting light rays down onto the earth, slowly melting the snow and warming it up again. Even managed to shine inside the cave.

The fire had gone out already, it had gone out earlier in the night, but it didn't seem to matter. The once dark, miserable forest has become peaceful, and beautiful, the snow making the day even brighter, and the sun clearing paths out with its light. The cold was still better, but it wasn't as bad as it was during the night.

The sun rays shined in SMG4's face waking him up, he lifted himself up weakly off the ground, and looked up at the sky, he let a small smile creep on his face, glad to see it was a nice day and things will probably be easier to get through. But this daylight also reminded him that his castle was now destroyed. Which made the smile fade a bit.

But he doesn't have time to really think about that right now, so he packed up his bag, and decided to take the rocks with him in case he needed to make a fire again, he wasn't too worried about the stick since he can crack them off again. Since his laptops didn't work, he took it out and left it behind as well as the chargers to make room for the rocks and other stuff.

He put the bag on over his back and he climbs out of the cave, he looks around from where he came, which was beyond the boulders, he assumed he should just go straight, even though he couldn't guarantee he was going the right way to the shelter in the first place, he might as well give it a shot and keep going.

Around this time, the snow had hardened, and it was easier to walk on top of so he wasn't shoveling through it, of course, occasionally his foot got stuck, he'd have to pull it out, and he's always stumbling over like a fool, he always managed to get back on the solid snow, and keep going.

He was less stressed now, the peaceful day seemed to put his mind at ease, but the days are shorter, so he'd have to turn in for the night sooner, which sucked since that gave him less time to search for the shelter. He could go looking for the map, but that would just waste time as he had no idea where it went, and most likely is buried in the snow.

He took a moment to look at his hands, he wasn't sure if they were worse, or the same as before, but he took a little time to see how bad it was. Yeah it was definitely bad, his hands were really swollen and discolored to a deep purple and almost brown, and they hurt pretty bad, He put his hands together, but noticed he didn't even feel anything in them, only what felt like pins and needles. He would certainly hope they didn't need to be amputated, but he really would not be surprised.

More time passes once again, it was much easier to walk on the harder snow and not just push his way through it. But he started to see something really big in the distance, it was no rock, nor was any animals, that he could tell, but other than that, he had no idea what it could be, a normal person will probably avoid it, but... since when did he do anything normal in his life?

He walked towards it for a long time before he started to see what it was, and he couldn't believe his eyes, it was a plant of some kind, he had no idea what it would be, when he approached it more, he noticed the massive leaves also, this plant was going for upwards for miles, though he couldn't really see the top due to the many other trees lurking around it, but his attention was pulled back to the massive leaves.

He approached one of them and climbed onto it, he noticed it wasn't really breaking under him, and the next one was not too far off, wondered how long it would take to the top, he knows he should be looking for the shelter, but curiosity was getting to him, maybe if he goes up high enough he probably would find something to help him? He didn't know.

To make sure he'd come down and get back on track, he left his bag down so he can give himself a reason to come back down here, and look for the shelter, he then looked back at one of the leaves close by.
